大脚多轮套装（多轮辋系统 + 新款大轮胎怪兽卡车）

I’m presenting another version of the “Big Tires” monster truck, originally inspired by Bigfoot #5 with huge Firestone Tundra tires. This time, I’ve added a multi-rim system (which allows wheels to be connected as dualies, triples, quads, etc.) and designed a body inspired by the 5th generation Ford F-250 “Bumpside.”

The vehicle is in the scale of popular store-bought toys (and my other monster trucks), but it features significantly larger wheels and an original design with a print-in-place suspension system based on the Rocker Bogie model.

Thanks to reliable snap-fit connections, the assembly process (demonstrated in the video) is effortless and enjoyable, with components easily interchangeable.

This model also fits into the giftbox from the "Big Tires Monster Truck Set" (without additional wheels) and can be launched using the Launcher from my “Monster Truck Launcher Set” (with no additional wheels connected).

A multicolor version (3MF file created in Bambu Studio) is also included.

The STL models are already in the correct orientation.

The prints presented were made using the Bambu Lab P1S and the Prusa MK4.

IMPORTANT:

The monster truck model has 0.3 mm clearances between the walls of the print-in-place moving parts. This is not a demanding tolerance for a 3D printer. However, to be sure, you can print one of the "Clearance Tolerance Tests" available on the Internet. If, in your case, the walls of the elements are fused together with a 0.3 mm clearance, you should likely reduce the flow (extrusion multiplier) value or adjust the X/Y compensation ratio (Horizontal expansion) in your slicer (e.g. to -0.1 mm). Also, check if the diameter of the filament you are using is not too large and if your nozzle is not worn out.

You can press the BIG_MULTI_RIM_CLIP against your desk to make it easier to assemble with the BIG_MULTI_RIM_EXPAND.

Once printed, rotate simultaneously one side (axle) of the suspension clockwise and the other counterclockwise. After a few times, the internal gear mechanism should start working smoothly if it wasn't initially.
