In this set, you will find:

• A special multi-rim that allows wheels to be connected as dualies, triples, quads, etc.

• A new monster truck, ‘Dirt Shoveler,’ inspired by the iconic Grave Digger. Two body variants are included: one with and one without engraved flames, a skull, and an arrow on the hood. The vehicle is scaled to match popular store-bought toys and features an original design with a print-in-place suspension system based on the Rocker Bogie model. For the version with engraved details, a multicolor 3MF file, optimized in Bambu Studio, is included (!).

• A wrench to facilitate the mounting of monster truck tires.

OTHER IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

• Please take a look at the instructional GIF showing how to attach and remove the additional multi-rim. It shouldn’t require much force—provided you’re pulling in the right place.

• If you’re familiar with my other works, you’ll notice that this set includes a wrench in a new shape, mounted at the rear of the rim (see the instructional GIF).

• The presented colored body variant was printed using a Bambu Lab P1S.

• LAYER HEIGHT: 0.2 mm (or 0.1 mm for the Monster Truck’s body)
• NOZZLE DIAMETER: 0.4 mm
• MATERIAL: PLA, PETG (tires can be printed in TPU/FLEX)
• PERIMETERS: 2 (recommended; more perimeters would only make the snap-fit connections stiffer)

The STL models are already in the correct orientation. The prints shown were made on a Prusa MK4.

ATTENTION!

• The model includes 0.3 mm clearances between the walls of the print-in-place moving parts. This is not a demanding tolerance for a 3D printer. However, to be sure, you can print one of the "Clearance Tolerance Tests" available online. If, in your case, the walls of the elements are fused together despite the 0.3 mm clearance, you may need to reduce the flow (extrusion multiplier) value or adjust the X/Y compensation ratio (Horizontal expansion) in your slicer (e.g., to -0.1 mm). Also, check if the filament diameter you are using is too large or if your nozzle is worn out.
• to clean the print bed before printing to ensure high adhesion.
• Once the SUSPENSION_RB2 is printed, rotate one side (axle) of the suspension clockwise and the other counterclockwise simultaneously. After a few rotations, the internal gear mechanism should work smoothly if it didn't initially.
