Hello, I'm a master dental technician and I'm interested in the Artex STL file. Which module in ExoCAD do I need? Does it have to be the Model module, or can I use the CAD for crowns and bridges? Greetings Jens
Hi Jens, thank you for your message! You can actually use the Artex STL file even without the Model Creator module. It also works with just the Crown & Bridge module – however, please note that in this case, the Artex STL will be imported simply as an additional (secondary) model.
To fully utilize it for deg articulated models, you’d need an alternative software that allows you to create and manage the models externally before importing them into ExoCAD.
Also, please note that with your purchase, you’ll receive a video tutorial that clearly explains how everything works step by step.

He intentado imprimir en dos orientaciones y falla, al parecer no está optimizada para impresión FDM. Tiene idea de cuál puede ser problema?
Puedes imprimirlo en FDM, pero es importante tener una impresora precisa y bien calibrada. Yo solo proporciono los archivos STL; luego depende de ustedes calibrar sus máquinas adecuadamente para los archivos y determinar su precisión. En cualquier caso, este tipo de trabajo ha sido realizado en FDM por varios clientes y ninguno ha tenido problemas. Si está fallando, puede ser un tema de configuración o calibración de la impresora.
Hola, pude imprimir en una orientación bien particular, se me han roto porque le faltan mas paredes permiterales y algo de relleno. Por casualidad tienes recomendaciones (Material, settings) Y lo otro que quería consultarle si has pensado colocarle al modelo para el tornillo o si recomientadas algun tipo de inserto para poder fijar a las ramas del oclusor con tornillos. Si, en los próximos días intentaré aumentar en cualquier caso la vida adecuada sería la que está adjunta en la carpeta con la que no hay problemas. En el peor de los casos, puedes darle un golpe con el cúter y agrandar el agujero tú mismo.

Ahora lo he comprobado todo, lamentablemente no hay suficiente espacio para aumentar el diámetro interno. No puedo hacer eso, todos los archivos han sido revisados y funcionan con tornillos dentro de la carpeta.

Hello, no problem at all! If you notice in the video, I’m not working with the dental library but with individual tooth shapes from the ed folder. These shapes are positioned as pre-op, which is the best approach to preserve the correct forms. Let me know if you need further clarification!

Hello, the socket base isn’t optimized for 3Shape, and it’s meant to be used with external CAD software. There’s no mention of 3Shape compatibility. You can find tutorial videos online for guidance.
Try using Microsoft’s 3D Builder. It’s simple and intuitive.
