ed first design September 22, 2023. Having fun in the 3D design and printing world. Got into it in 2015 with a Dremel 3D20 and bought a couple more for extra colours and printing capacity. Recently added a QIDI Q1 Pro which works really well. Simplify3D is my go-to slicer, but use the QIDI Slicer tool that came with the Q1 Pro as well. A great hobby. Can't stand throwing out things and filling landfills, so I use this tech to fix and restore a lot of things. I repair all kinds of electronics as well so if I can't buy a plastic and sometimes metal part, I'll design it and print it. Finally sharing some of my work so I'll as much as I can from this point forward to cults3d.emulatorsite.com
If you need a part to fix something that you can't find and would like to print it. Message me and I'll see what I can do to design and post it. Also, please give me a like or rating if what you have printed from my collection worked for you.
Quick Tips: (Based on my personal experience)
Have had some experience with TPU now and it seems, the Polymaker brand needs to run 10 degrees hotter to prevent clogging. Slowing the print speed to 40-50mm/s seems to yield the best results.
Glue sticks work well on a cold build plate for the Dremel 3D20 especially for parts with small with the plate. Build on a raft helps also. However for parts with larger surface area, printing with PLA pro filaments seem to work well. Use a 0.007" feeler gauge with slight drag to level the plate.
