Hey! The base game box is absolutely maxed out on space already, so adding room for sleeves would mean lid lift or storing it in several boxes (which defeats the purpose of my design). However I did have a completely different idea for 3-box storage that would definitely have room for sleeves. Would you prioritize fewer boxes or no lid lift?

I will post it when it’s done. I have been unable to devote any time to the project over the past few months but I am anticipating that I will have time in April/May. Sorry for the delay here! I went back and checked...the internal dimensions you have are correct (62.5x92). I think they comment you are talking about is what I had designed before I had the actual Boss Battles game to work with. Sorry about that! All that said, I'm a little confused how the sleeves you've linked are 57x89 but you've measured 92.3? It sounds like you were sent the wrong sleeves.

Hmm I haven’t tried that, but I want to say you’ll still need to print all 8 of the minis holders since there has to be room for the BIG minis in addition to the Creatures (belshazar and funeral witch particularly). I am happy to try to fit eveyrthing you have in just 4 of the minis holders, though, when I’m back home next week?

that'd be great if you could try to fit it in just 4 of them and let me know if it works! if they don't fit, i would have to store them in the stretch goals box then (with extra room since i dont have the alternate creatures expansion), correct?

So I double checked: there aren't currently enough wide-base slots to fit everything in one layer. However, only storing one set of Creatures means that there would be plenty of open slots for the smaller bases. So, it might be possible to store everything in one layer if I made an alternate minis holder with fewer small base slots and another large base slot instead. If you want, I could try it and add it to the files, but I still don't know if it is possible to Tetris everything in. And, if it does fit with only one layer, it would all have to be stored in the Stretch Goals box, not the Creatures box. This is because the She-wolf is thicker than the Creatures box is tall (hence why the Strech Goals box is taller). Hope that makes sense? Anyway, I'm down to try it if you're interested.

Ohhhhh, yes I’m definitely interested!! So it would reduce the boxes down to just the core box + stretch goals box, correct? With the strech goals box just containing 1 row of minis, resulting in no lid lift?

That's my thinking, yes, but it's currently unproven. The difficulty is that some of the large based minis are HUGE, and I originally solved the problem (byed really), by putting them on different levels. It's a quick design change and a single print. I'll let you know in a couple days if it's going to work :)

sounds good. also, how tight is the fit for sliding the minis in and out? All my minis are painted (including the bases), would that cause too much friction and scratch the paint on the bases? or is it not too terribly tight in this design? thanks!

They are relatively loose. But it might be worth having 2 layers to keep them more separate from each other…

I'm less concerned with the minis touching themselves, and more concerned with the friction of sliding the painted bases in and out of the rails/tracks. but if theres some give there already (relatively loose) then it shouldnt be an issue! I'm really excited about the idea of having my all-in (minus the alternate creatures) fit in just the core+stretch goals box (with 1 layer of minis/no lid lift). Thanks!!

I'm going to have to do it with 4 different pieces instead of the original 2 with 1 file being printed 7 times, but it's going to work! Love the modified insert!!! A nice surprise was it fit inside the Sphinx Campaign box, which is nice becuase it's not as tall as the Stretch Goals box :). I have pics if you want to see, just let me know how to send them to you! thanks again!!

Hey, thanks for letting me know! I’ve been learning that my sleeves are a different size than are used by most people. I’ll look into it and let you know, but I do know that because of the thickness of some of the sleeves insert pieces, they can also be stored cards-up with the same amount of lid lift. And if you do it that way, there is way more room. I’ll update you when I have a solution!

Hey again! You should have received an email announcing the updated files, but I'm circling back here to let you know that all should be fixed. The last picture shows the layout that works with the wider-card-width slots. I'd love to see it when you're all done printing--would you consider posting a Make?

I've printed the new Faction10X model and the sleeves fit perfectly now. I'm using Gamegenic Matte. I'll post a make after I'm done printing everything :)

You must have different-sized sleeves than I do! I’m happy to resize it for you if you let me know the dimensions of one of your sleeves. Sorry about the wasted filament, but it’s kind of hard to for all sizings since there is not a standard for that, especially for larger card sleeves. I’ve requested a refund for you—hope that helps.

Sorry for the reserved tone of my previous message, but my frustration was really high last night after spending many hours on prints that I threw away. I'm not sure where the problem is, but my sleeves are quite tight fit. But the tray seems to be tight for even unsleeved cards - they fit, but there is definitely no free space for sleeves. Measurements of my sleeves are 123x73 mm, so I think 125x75 mm will do the trick. If it is easy for You to enlarge the tray, I will be happy if You send me the STL, otherwise I can do it myself. Thank You for the refund. I will gladly buy Your files once again when it will work properly for me. I think that clever design deserves to be paid and I really like what You did. Thank You and best reagards.

One more request (or recommendation) - walls of pinecone tray are a bit thinner than I would like them to be. I'm not sure if it is because they are thinner than other trays (which works perfect) or because I print this tray specifically with wood-PLA (to be stylish), but they are so thin, that they bend when held in hand and they have tendency to break. If You can make an alternative version with double thickness of walls, I would highly appreciate it.

It is thinner because I was worried about all my upgraded tokens fitting. I'll a thicker version!

Hello, today I have finally recieved my Cascadia expansion and was looking forward to put everything in Your cool looking insert... just to be disappointed again, because they won't fit my sleeved cards (Gamegenic Matte). I had to cut them a bit (no problem for me) just to find out, that every card compartment is made different. Landmarks organizer A is 70 mm long, but Landmarks organizer B is only 69 mm long. Sadly that 1 mm makes quite a difference, because I can't fit even my cutted sleeved cards into 69 mm. What in even worse is the width of card compartments. The side compartment of Lakrs A is 10 mm in width (which works perfectly), Landmarks B width is 8,5 mm (which fits so so), BUT Landmarks A 2nd compartment (the one that is connected with tray for landmarks) is 8,5 mm on one end and 7,0 on the other end!!!! How is this even possible?! I don't want to be rude, but can You finally make a version, that will really work and that will have all compartments of the same size (at least 8,5 mm, but preferably 10 mm on ALL compartments in width and at least 70 mm in length on ALL compartments)?

It sounds like you are working with two different versions of the files. Please make sure you have ed the most recent version. I can look into it, but you are literally the only one having this problem, so I am just as confused as you!

I have checked, that I have ed the lastest version. I have ed it once again today and the result is still the same. I can send you pictures with measurements, I just don't know how. The most obvious problem is Landmarks A tray, where each card compartment is of different size and the smaller tray has different width on each end. I can imagine that others are using unsleeved cards or thin sleeves, or they are pressing cards into slots hard (it can be done with some force, but I hope this was not Your intention). If I don't like the idea of Your insert so much and if I will find any alternative as appealing as Yours, I will use it, but the idea of Your design is simply brilliant. The execution, on the other hand, not as much.

By the way, if You look on the model of Landmarks A (either STL of physiscal model) from the top, it is obvious that there is a difference in width between left and right end, that holds cards. I can see it even without measuring it.

Okay, I see what you are saying now. Part of the inconsistency ("execution...not as much") was because I was rushing to get the correction for you the first time. My apologies. In any case, I've ed new versions of both Landmarks files, and all 3 card slots are 71x10mm.

Either insert would work for you, because the only non-Volfyirion things in the second box are the Icaion Wonders (I’m assuming you don’t have those since they were from the original KS) and the Solo stuff. So you could store everything but the solo stuff in one box (with either the 3-in-1 if you don’t sleeve or the 5-in-2 if you do sleeve) and then store the solo stuff however it works best for you. I would offer to make a little solo-cards box for the 3-in-1 insert, but there really isn’t much wiggle room. Let me look into it this weekend.

It looks like I can make it work with either storage layout, but I need to know: do you sleeve your cards? If you do, the only way I can make everything fit in one box is if you do not have the Wonders minis/cards from the original Icaion KS.
