Hello Ideando, I explained the steps in the guide document. If you have the pieces assembled as shown in the photos, bending the spring should be accomplished by gripping the wire against the bending arm with pliers and turning clockwise. I'm just doing this here in cults for fun 🙂, the designs are all pieces i've done for myself because i was in need for something special or just wanted to try out something new or in a different way.
On my site it's more tinkering the practical engineering 😅
(construction engineers (as i am) normally Just dig holes and fill some concrete in them 😜)
Did you have ever mentioned to do some makes of your designs? Your also doing some metal casting and i'm really curious how they will look if they are done. 😉

I've cast a few of them (the cannon and the bell so far), but my expertise is definitely in engineering rather than metalwork. My equipment isn't suited for high precision, but I thought I'd make the models available for those who have plaster mold capabilities or vacuum casting equipment.

I'm not equipped with the proper tools for it.
Just doing a little bit of sandcasting as a hobby. (equipment ist reliably and cheap)
