Hello, I am printing your fidget keycap. The spring did you print in TPU? I am assuming so right
Hi, the spring I printed in PLA with 5+ walls and s.
Hi! im looking to purchase the model for a giant mechanical switch. I want the one which has the spring which you can actually press down like a normal switch.
I found this one here: https://cults3d.emulatorsite.com/en/3d-model/gadget/mx-switch-fidget-toy . However, it is not clear what i am actually purchasing here. It has a model on the last slide of the small base to put the switch on. So i am unsure if this is to purchase the base, or the switch as a whole
Additionally, if this is the wrong page, is it possible for you to link me to a page of the mechanical switch which functions like a regular switch with the spring. Is there a specific filament i need to use for the spring to make it bend? Thanks! :D
Hi, That is the correct link for the giant switch with the spring.
All the models are in a ZIP file. However, the base switch opener was ed as a separate STL, which is why is shows up as the model preview. In the listing you can still see all the STLs that are in the ZIP if you click "Folder details"
As for the spring, I printed it in PLA with 5+ walls and s.
Thank you!
Im from the Philippines and i am not able to purchase the file from Cults3D is this posted on other sites?

Hey! Thanks for your , I really appreciate it!
I don't believe there is an orientation where the top can be printed without s.
The top and bottom both require s due to the overhang on the edge.
However, if you print the top upside down, there will be minimal .
I print it normal and use tree s. In my opinion, this would provides the best finish, and you can enabled ironing, for a super smooth top layer.
Also make sure you have a roof with 100% density, this makes it pretty easy to remove the material in one piece.
I bought your switch container and I'm just checking what orientation you print the MX tops for no s, I'm assuming with the top side on the build plate/legs pointing up in the air?
Thanks man, real excited to start cranking these out to match all my switches.
Hey I'm very sorry for the late reply. I've been out for some time. I'm hope you were able to start printing these. I usually print with legs down and use tree s.
It provides for a better top surface finish, but printing legs up also works. The top finish may be a bit off due to the s and build plate texture.
Hi, thanks for making a awesome package! I was wondering, have you ever printed a keycap for the 2 sizes of switches? I'm wanting to print a keycap for it and was wondering if you knew the size?
