Hello! Thanks for reaching out. Absolutely, the lights require a specific type - they're UV (ultraviolet) lights, 5mm LEDs. UV LEDs are particularly effective at attracting mosquitoes, so I suggest wiring them with resistors to prolong their lifespan. While they might shine brighter without resistors, they tend to lose efficiency rapidly. I'd be happy to create a video detailing the connections if you're interested.
Espero haber respondido satisfactoriamente a tu pregunta. Si tienes alguna otra duda, ¡no dudes en preguntar! Estaré encantado de ayudarte =]

If I may suggest - perhaps the design can be revised a bit, so there's a tray for the trap box.
Currently I attach the tray to the trap with magnet.
But this means additional complexity, especially a bother for a lay man.
Having a tray means you can just slide the box into the trap, very convenient.
Thanks!
Thank you for your suggestion—it's greatly appreciated! I think your idea of incorporating a tray for the trap box is excellent. It would indeed simplify the setup and make it more -friendly, which is important.
I'll definitely consider this in the design revision. It's valuable like yours that helps improve the overall experience. I'll work on integrating a tray into the next version to make it more convenient for everyone.
If you have any more thoughts or ideas in the future, please feel free to share them. Your input is instrumental in making this project better.
Thanks again for taking the time to provide , and I'm looking forward to implementing this improvement in the next iteration.
Best regards,
Jose

Just one small addition - I added water & yeast into the trap box. So it produces CO2 he he
Thanks again!!!
Hi there,
Thank you for your message and for trying out my design! I'm glad to hear that it's been effective in trapping mosquitoes for you, even in just two days!
Adding water and yeast to the trap box to produce CO2 is a clever idea. It can make the trap even more enticing for mosquitoes. Thanks for sharing this tip!
I'm pleased to know that my design has been helpful to you. If you have any more or suggestions in the future, feel free to reach out. Your input is much appreciated.
Wishing you a mosquito-free environment and a great day!
Best regards,
Jose
Hey, I ed one of your files and the scale is too big. I dont know the right scale. It is the model of the Makita drill holder. Mby you can help me. Ty
Hi, good morning! Thanks a lot for ing my work!
Could you tell me which slicer you are using?
I use the metric scale in millimeters on my models. If the file appears too large, it might be due to your slicer using inches or another unit — in that case, scaling it down by 10x or even 100x usually solves the issue.
If you can let me know which slicer and the approximate size it's showing for you, I can help you more accurately and even update the model on the site if needed.
