Hey just wondering if you have some advice. We've wasted 6 guns now. The first couple we didn't remove s on the inside so we did get that part taken care of but the gun keeps breaking in half. I'd really like to get this one to print out but nothing seems to work
Breaking in half? Please send pictures to my email. If it is breaking at a layer line I would guess you are having issues with your z rod.
Just printed this model and appears running into the same issue as others the slide can't move. Was there a solution for this? or a different model to try? Printed by using Creality Print
A few reasons this can happen.
You have s inside the body. Make sure you have selected s from build plate only, or however it is labeled in your slicer. If you accidently printed s inside then there is no fixing that print. Go back and check your slice/print preview.
Stringing, if it is just stringing usualy gently prying the upper and lower reciever apart at the slide will usually free it. Then rack it back and forth until it operates smoothly.
Over extrusion, if your nozel is over extruding it will fill up the close tolerances, (as low as 0.3mm) and fuse the gun together. If it is minor the same fix as stringing may work.

purchased and print last night. when i slid the clip in the sides of gun cracked big time and no matter what i do trigger doesnt pull
The gun cracking when you insert the magazine is a new one. Most people have trouble with it falling out. It makes me wonder if you are over extruding, making the part too big. That would also make the close tolerances inside the gun fuse together.
Also the gun shouldn't have cracked from the magazine, I could see if the magazine cracked. How old is the filament? Did you use 4 walls? If you bought it last night and printed it you must be printing super fast. Typically it takes me 20 to 24 hours to print one.
Check to make sure you didn't have s printing inside the gun.

Just ed G17R RUBBER BAND GUN.
There are only 3 files, should there not be more parts? The trigger and other moving parts.
I print on a resin printer, does this gives any problem?
The gun prints all in one piece, no assembly. The other two parts are the magazine and a cap for the barrel that you can print or paint orange for safety. I have never printed on a resin printer, but as long as you don't have any s inside the gun it should work.
you keep making these rubber band gun replicas and I'll keep buying them! ha-ha seriously my hats off to you on this stl. absolutely beautiful. I have about 1kg into these rn haha.
Hi, I'm pretty new to 3D printing, I printed this gun and it printed beautiful except I used tree s and I'm not sure if that is why but i cant get the trigger to pull and the slide doesnt move? I would appreciate any advice.

Hi,
Either you have s inside the body, check your print preview, or you have some stringing or over extrusion gumming things up. If it is just stringing or over extrusion it can sometimes be freed up by sticking a putty knife between the upper and lower reciever in the slide and prying gently. If you have s inside you will have to reprint.

It is a working model, hundreds have been printed. Either you didn't follow the directions or your machines need calibrated. I refunded you.

my printing volume is 150x150x150mm
I assume if i scale it down it wont work anymore...

Hello, The XDSR is smaller, at a 15 degree rotation I believe it tops out at around 185 mm, however you may be able to fit it on your build plate by rotating it further and orienting it diagonally. I believe I had someone print it successfully by doing that and scaling down to 95%. Send me an email [email protected]

Hello, I purchased the Mandalorian rubberband gun. The trigger doesn't move and I have broken about 3 triggers now. I made sure that the s were only touching the platform. The piece that is supposed to turn and hold the rubberbands does not want to spin forward only backward and only slightly. I have looked on the inside of the build but do not see anything blocking it. Also if you have a guide on putting together I would greatly appreciate it thank you.
The trigger won't move and the rotor won't spin because something is fused inside. When you pull the trigger the the internal mechanism slides back releasing the sear that stops the rotor from spinning. If you have no s inside the body it is likely that you are over extruding causing the tight tolerances inside to fuse.
I recommend you search for tollerance calibration STL's and ensure that your printer can handle at least 0.3mm clearances between moving parts.
As far as an assembly guide, I do not have one, but there is a complete STL in the you can use as reference.
