I bought the octopus with magnets to print, didn't see any size requirements but it does not fit my A1 mini.
Is there any file available with the arms rearranged so it can fit the A1 mini and I can still fit in magnets?

Hello, unfortunately, the model has a minimum size required to fit the magnets. The magnetic version cannot be resized.
It seems like what is happening is called layer shifting, which occurs when the model is not properly fixed on the bed and can shift. If possible, I recommend using Bambu Lab stick glue to help secure it. Keeping the bed temperature at 60°C can also help
Hi. I bought a file with a dinosaur, it's very nice and my son likes it, but after printing one of the hands in the model broke off (I glued it), I wanted to fix it and print another one and the same thing again... What could be the cause of this?
Hi! Thanks for ing my model. It can break if you apply too much force moving the arm up (i don't know if thats the case), however the resistance depends on the material used, I recommend using PLA+.

Tried printing the new design with the embedded magnets and woke up expecting to put magnets in but it was still printing and just wasted 11 hours. How come it didn’t pause? What did I do wrong? I used the embedded stl but I changed it by painting colors because I wanted multi colored and I didn’t see that option like there was the first time I printed this when it first came out.
Hi! For multicolor print you can open the 3mf file that is already pre-painted, but the pause you need to set it up by yourself depending on your slicer and printer. Things to keep in mind, your buildplate must be metallic to hold the magnets during printing, otherwise they may be attracted to the printer nozzle. Make sure your printer's firmware allows you to pause and resume printing, if you've never done this I recommend you test it with a smaller piece first. If you need more help, don't hesitate to get in touch here or on my Instagram

Make sure you are printing with 0.2mm layer height. In layer 15 you should see the holes closed on bambu studio
Yep, had to change that because I originally had 0.12. It came out great once I changed it and got the pause right. Might like the first design better because the magnets aren’t as strong buried. Thanks for a great design though, it’s my favorite to print to date!
Ugh. I’m struggling. I bought the alien octopus file. Printed it it, and the magnets don’t fit. The same thing happened with the other octopus of yours I bought. Is there anyway to get a test tentacle to see if the magnets fit before I print an entire piece? I enlarged it 103% to think ahead, and that still didn’t work. It’s a fantastic print, my students love them. I just don’t want to keep printing until I can get the magnets to fit. Does any of this make sense? I ramble.

I just successfully printed the embedded magnets version of this Octopus. It’s really great. The magnets aren’t quite as strong as the non-embedded magnet version, but it still sticks well to metal and safe now for my young nephew to play with.

At what layer do you pause to insert imbedded magnets for "Cute Flexi Octopus"?

Thanks! If you are using bambu studio, with a 0.2mm layer height it is at layer 15. It pauses at the start of the printing layer that will close the holes, please confirm. I gave it 1 layer height tolerance, if people pause it at layer 14 it will also work but it is safer to pause at layer 15
