It is really 52” fully assembled — it’s a big sword, and Gaius is a big guy! But the blade and barrel can be made to slot in/out, so that drops to a 21” main body and 27” blade disassembled. A dowel runs through the whole thing for stability, too, so that can keep the parts together really reliably.

Sturdiness is entirely on how you print it. We’ve done several now, including a finished one, and it’s quite durable with 2mm walls and a 15% infill. Not the kind of durable where I’d suggest swinging it into walls or people, but the kind of durable where if you bonk it, it’ll be perfectly OK. If you printed it with super thick walls, it would probably get into the realm of being very durable.

Interesting. I will look into that then, and have a look at printed kits on your website as well. Quick question though do you think it would be more economical to buy the printed kit directly, or buy the model and make it print somewhere ?

Generally speaking I would consider it cheaper because you save the cost of the file and we have the experience of printing our own file well, but every printing service charges differently, so you'd likely be quoted a range. Some places are very inexpensive, some are extremely pricey! You might also find someone local, versus paying for shipping. Lots to consider but we're happy to help however we can!

Not sure but I also might be missing some files as well. Specifically the flower cluster pieces and the side flowers. I have one side labelled "mirror" which will only fit one side.

Hi there! Most of the blade can get by without s, but it depends on how finicky your printers are about overhangs. The main body in the center (with the curved part that goes round the "cross guard" is the part that generally needs the most, but a standard tree at 25 degrees should take care of most of it. Very little overall!

ok, the mesh mixer dot is not a problem, apparently, but i also cannot slice 'hat-whole.stl', tho i CAN slice 'hat front'.stl.

wings won't slice for me either. i guess this is meant for resin printing, not FDM. how can I you about a refund, as i cannot use this?

I just double checked and opened the 52" version up in Bambu Studio and it all fits on the P and X series for Bambu :)

Ok, I have ed the V2 zip, but I can't extract most of the files. I get the error: the parameter is incorrect... I see that you are using a Mac, you can try 7zip app for zip archives which works better than most archiving software.

Hi there! Different clients have used different methods, but my preferred one is to just have nylon straps with snaps on the ends sewn to your jacket, which connect to a snap on the inside of the arm. It'll help the weight without additional compression. You can also use velcro if you prefer a bit of adjustability!

Hi there! I can see it in the folder as Main Body 1 Upper and Lower, but just in case something squirrelly is happening on Cults, I've rejigged the file structure to be more straightforward. It should be reed within the next 10-15 minutes :)
