Ok thanks for prompt reply. Print was great thanks. I had slight issue with one round connector once slotted into place and once glued not sitting as tightly as the opposite side. I’m going to reprint later to see if same happens and try light sand to see if I can get the flush fit. Also the last image against the black background is very difficult to visually see some of the individual sections that I was trying to match to the individual files to change colour filament on my printer. Overall excellent design thanks for sharing.

I'm glad you liked my designs, could you tell me which piece is giving you problems so I can check it? I take note about the renders, for the future i try to use another background color :)

Morning, again thanks for prompt reply. It’s definitely the round connectors on the middle section that connect into the round holes into the back of the black front piece. I also printed your design of the Cocker Spaniel, another fantastic file and again thanks for sharing. This file I ran into the same issues when trying to slot the round connectors on ears into the front face. The middle section round connectors that connect into the back of the back front piece was extremely difficult. I asked husband to use extreme force, he managed to push the ears in, and he too couldn’t connect the middle section in properly, he managed to push in to a certain position but the left hand side just won’t sit flush as connectors won’t push in any further. If you don’t mind having a look and maybe print yourself. I think personally the round connectors need slight adjustment or the round holes. I’m using A1 with filaments BambuLab PLA basic I then reprinted using SunLu PLA+ Deeplee PLA and Elegoo PLA + and even though though print on the bed was flawless the same issues presented when trying to connect the pieces together. Another update. Just finished the German Shepherd and credit where it’s due. Absolutely fantastic print, all parts slotted together without any issues whatsoever, without much force but enough so was sturdy and solid with no movement. I wish I had experienced this with the other two already discussed. Again thanks for sharing absolutely recommend the file for any German Shepherd owners

Hello! Thanks for the update, the round midsection connectors are common across all models, with a tolerance of 0.12mm, and the round ear connectors have a tolerance of 0.1mm. Therefore, it is necessary that the printer be well calibrated within the tolerances, I would suggest doing a tolerance test. But having printed the German Shepherd without problems, I think that the problem is in the filament, different filaments behave differently according to the temperature and speed and can cause these problems, however they are problems that are quickly solved with a little sandpaper on the round connectors and a cutting blade to go over the edge of the holes. And if you continue using the filaments that are giving you problems, you would have to modify the XY expansion parameter in your slicer to a negative value so that they can fit well. To find this negative value, you would have to print calibration pieces with the specific filament that you want to fix. I hope I was able to help you, stay in touch!

Morning thanks again for replying and helpful suggestions. I’m not sure if it is the filament that is the issue as the same black filament used for the German Shepherd was also used when printing the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. I am new to 3d printing (3 months) so if I see a file I like I will purchase as haven’t mastered deg as still learning basics. I will certainly reprint the sections I had issues with using your suggestions. I also have noted that the middle section of German Shepherd body is smooth all round compared to the middle sections of both the Cavalier and Cocker not sure if that might also be another reason. I will google your suggestions and hopefully find videos to follow along with to see if the print is improved. Many thanks Andrea

I'm glad you liked the designs of the glasses holders, the two models you mention are on the list and will be released in March for our Thangs , eventually one of them could reach Cults but they will have to wait longer. If you sell the prints, I would suggest becoming a Thangs member so you can have the commercial license that I offer with that subscription, all licenses on Cults are for personal use only, let me know if you have any questions, see ya!

I am a Thangs commercial member. Great to hear, I'll save some of my March credits for those models!! Also, I did read correctly that if we are a commercial member and we from Cults we are ok to use those commercially as well? I thought that is what it said. Definitely don't want to be selling without the proper licenses! Thanks!

That's correct, all the stuff you buy on Cults has also the commercial license if you are an active member of Thangs ;) so be patient, in march you can have these models, thanks for your !
