Thanks for your quick response, but I’m not sure you’re completely understanding what I’m asking. I have a Bambu Lab X-1c printer with an AMS unit and I’m looking for projects that I can print in multiple color filaments versus hand painting the items.
I found that some of the files I’ve purchased from other makers while they have a lot of detail, they are difficult (to impossible ) to “paint” using my slicer program.
So given this explanation, are your files able to be “painted” using a slicer program for printing with multiple filaments? 🙂

hey, i grabbed this today but importing it as anything other than a graphical body fails. the 3d file surface imports dont work, and neither does importing it as a solid body mesh. if you have a complete file id appreciate it, otherwise a refund would be great as well. thanks

some programs not specialized in 3d printing may have problems working with this format
im using solidworks 2019 to open and import it but i can only get it in as a graphic body, an .obj maybe able to import and convert to a solid body but the updated file was still giving me some errors on some surfaces;
imported surface 1, 12, 19, 27 and 30. im not sure if thats helpful for you but thats out of 36 surfaces imported on the completa1 .stl file.

the software you use is a parametric program that is usually used by architects and industrial, mechanical and aeronautical engineers to develop objects with numerical value and that moving parts can be ed with a millimeter margin of error.
I'm assuming you wanted to modify my design to accommodate moving features or use it as part of a larger parametric project.
Unfortunately for you, the native program for this design is ZBRUSH in its 2022 version, a non-parametric program that bases its structure on its own volumetric parameters without a defined numerical scale.
exports to other formats from the native program will not help you either, due to the 2019 version you are using.
it's basically like you want to open a word 2010 file in a word 2003 program. you just can't.
my advice is to update your solid work to a 2022 version to work with the file you already have.
