Hello, I really liked your model of the Mea Culpa Blasphemous and I would like to ask several questions. You mention that it has rod files, what do you mean, what are the rods? I would also like to know how much filler would be good for 3D printing? which filament do you recommend the most for printing? PLA ,PETG, NYLON. It is for a gift and I want it to come out wonderful
Thanks! The rods are rod files that go in the middle of some of our sword files, since most swords are printed standing up they are likely to snap depending on the weight you choose to have on them, this rod adds stability to the inside center to prevent the model from snapping at any of the layer lines.
For swords I personally use 5% infill and 3-5 walls which make the model stronger and also helps prevent snapping, 10% is also good and anything above that I think is unnecessary. I have never printed with Nylon and mostly use only PLA+ although petg works great too if you have a good profile, it is typically harder to print with PETG
Correct, try printing at 0.12mm height or lower if you want to keep it very detailed

Hi, I might go back to it at a later date and do an update on it, since that shell was done for our last ronin helmet that’s why it is a little more aged

We could add those to our plans, at least the first one for sure, the other two we would have to see but yeah we have some other monster hunter things in the plans, we alternate between pokemon and monster hunter for swords and props

Hey, so i printed up your Ajax Helmet. Just wanted to notate that on the back half on the lower magnet holes...you forgot to add 2 on the very bottom. The back had 2 holes on each side for magnets and the jaw has 3 on each side

For the Spiderman helmet. Hi, I can't get the eye frames to line up properly in the mask. The frame length seems ok, but the width is small. The neck part should be wider too. I printed at 95%, which works great for the mask, but the neck is small. I don't have a large neck either. Lol.
