Hello! very nice model! I've printed it, but unfortunately hinges broke few weeks ago, thinkness of the hinges is a little too low for threads and dowels...
Is this possible to create a magnetic version of it? thanks a lot, I'm kindly looking for your models! ;)

Hi jamesleblond, I'm really glad you like my designs. For the problem you have had, I strongly recommend you to use an aluminium rod or a M4 screw to make all the pins of the case (the hinge pins and the latch pins). I made them with the aluminium rod and I can assure you that they will not break again.
As for the design of the magnetic version, I really like it. As soon as I have time I'll start thinking about the design to see what I can get. Thank you very much for your comments. Regards

Hey, bought your hard drive case, love the design very well thought out, only thing is the overhanging hinges are super weak and keep breaking have had to glue them back together 5 times now, any advice on reinforcing them or printing them stronger?

Hello! First of all, thank you for trusting in my designs. Of course, I strongly recommend you to put some M4 bolts and nuts instead of the 3d printed part. You can find them in any hardware store or DIY store. This way it won't break anymore. Best regards my friend, hope I helped you.

Hello! I made the box in PLA material and it weights 160 grams aproximately. However the weight depends a lot on the number of wall thickness and the infill of the piece, parameters that you can modify in your slicer program. If you have any other doubts don't hesitate to ask me. Best regards!
