Hi, I've already emailed you about it but I figured notifying you here as well. I already bought your USS Midway model but is it possible to get the obj or fbx version as well? More details in the email from [email protected]
Thanks!

Hi, I did e-mail you back yesterday ;)
Bonjour je suis en train de réaliser le Normandie au 1/100 et je recherche les fichiers stl des cheminer, des grue, des bossoirs, des treuils de bossoirs
Bonjour, écrivez-moi à [email protected], j’ai cela! Bien à vous
Hi! I purchased the MSC seaside a few days ago. I have been unsuccessfully trying to print it since then.
I started with the waterline file and tried twice. Didn't work. Everytime it got 30% it stopped. Then I tried the other file and stopped saying it was ready, while still missing more than a half.
Could be possible the file its corrupted?
Hi, this is very strange, it’s been printed many times without problems and I don’t see why it would have become corrupted. What scale/slicer/printer are you using?
Can the Icon of the Seas be used in Sketchup?
I’m not very familiar with SketchUp, but it is possible to import STL files there, yes.
Hi I have just purchased this but it does not work with SketchUp meaning i cannot access the model :(
I have tried all the STL files available to and still no success
Looks like you’ll need to use an extension or plugin since SketchUp doesn’t natively STL files. You can use the SketchUp STL plugin, which allows you to import and export STL files for 3D printing or other purposes.
To import an STL file, you can follow these steps:
1. and install the SketchUp STL extension from the Extension Warehouse.
2. After installation, go to File > Import, and you should be able to select and import your STL file.
This will enable you to work with STL files in SketchUp.
Thanks will try that :)
Hi it still does not work
Hello it still does not work
What do you plan to use it for in SketchUp? The files are very detailed and not necessarily optimized for that purpose, as it wasn’t the original intent. It works on my end with a lower-polygon version. Feel free to email me at [email protected] if you’d like me to send it to you.
Hello. I am interested in the Icon of the Seas STL. Is it one file? Is there an option to have it split into three different pieces to print at a larger scale?
Also, does this model require s?
Hi, it’s one file indeed (or two with the separate dome), and it’s easy to cut it in parts indeed. I can provide you with an easy tutorial - email me at [email protected] for this.
It requires s yes
Would you be willing to hollow out one of your models? I would like to use the Titanic series ships to make some rc boats.
Hi there, I may already have what you want (it’s this one https://www.ctvnews.ca/atlantic/article/its-a-tradition-titanic-model-returning-to-halifax-public-gardens/). Can you email me at [email protected]?
Done
I purchased the USS THUBAN AKA-19 and would like to print it at 1/160 scale for a model railroad layout is it possible to get a version of the file that is not a single STL?
Hi there, well that would take quite a bit of work, and I can’t do it for free.. Could you email me at [email protected] so we can discuss the options based on what you have in mind?
I am currently rehabbing a 1/600 model of the SS United states and I only need 3d files for the
aft masts.stl
aft structure.stl
front masts.stl
Is this something you could help with?
Hi there! Yes, definitely! I’m currently on a cruise, so it’s not the most convenient time, but could you email me at [email protected] starting March 1? That way, we can discuss it further.
Hello there,
I hope you are having a good day. I do have a question about the ss normandie 1/600 model I bought. Is there any way to slice it to get rid of the port hole extensions so that they are just holes and not long tunnels. I am currently trying to make a 7 foot long rc model of her.
Thank you
Florian
Hi there, I'm afraid there's no easy way to do that unfortunately. However, I've worked somr time ago on a version with much shallower recessed portholes (the original 1935) which I'm exporting as we speak, and which may be helpful. Could you please reach out to me at [email protected]?
Thank you for the purchase of the 3D Printable Empress of Australia, a model I have been pursuing for some time. Over the weekend, I successfully printed a beautiful 65cm version the ship in nearly original colours using the slow manual filament swap-out using my K1 MAX. The designer incorporated embedded decking, which will give the model a realistic appearance once painted. My only suggestion is that it would have been much easier if the model was split into parts for ease printing.
Since there are two Australian commercial ships to choose from, could a new design of the TSMV Princess of Tasmania be added to the list which would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you so much for your comments! I’d love to see your model! If you have a Facebook , I’d be happy to share it on LinersWorld’s page (or via email at [email protected]). She wasn’t easy to create, as there’s very little material available about her. I’ll keep the Princess of Tasmania in mind, though I’m currently tied up with commissioned work. Thanks again!
Hi there,
Yes, it’s easy to split them into modules. I actually already have a 1/350 split version of the Midway that I could provide for example. The best way to proceed would be to me at [email protected].
Looking forward to hearing from you!
I am looking at the 3 pack of Midway class carriers, and scaling them up to 1/350. Can you advise on how they are split up at the moment (I see it says 6 files, I am assuming 2 of each carrier, 1 waterline and 1 full hull). Can the file be split up into multiple modules (using NetFabb or Meshmixer) so that it can be printed on either a FDM or Resin printer (I have both), or can you make a modular version available that it may be printed easier in larger scales?
I should add that I would look to do the same with several of your other ships in the long run if the above can be done.
Hi there,
Yes, it’s easy to split them into modules. I actually already have a 1/350 split version of the Midway that I could provide for example. The best way to proceed would be to me at [email protected]. I also have an easy tutorial to split any of them in modules to print them at larger scales, and also a few split models not listed here.
Looking forward to hearing from you!

Hi there, I'm not sure I understand what you mean?
Hi I would like to know if in the futur you have the intention to mae the Costa Europa. Thank you
Hi there, it’s not planned for now unfortunately, and I already have plenty of ongoing projects. You can always commission it if you really want her :)
Hi, I'd like to know if there is any difference between the 1/1000 and 1/600 apart from having the separated parts? Thanks.
Hi there, yes details are generally finer.
Hello Linersworld, your models are realy wonderful.
Do you have the RMS Windsor Castle from 1960 in your program? That´s my favorite Liner, because I traveled on her in the 70th.
Thank you! There are so many ships I’d like to do… she’s not in my immediate list unfortunately, and I prioritize commissions (which is an option if you would really, really like having her;))
Good morning,
Of which amount are you thinking of and how can we make this deal?
Best regards, Ralph
Good morning, can you please send me an e-mail to [email protected] to continue this conversation?
Kind regards,
Mathieu
Any plans for MSC Seascape?
It’s almost identical to the Seaside, right? I’d have to research it but why not
Just tried to use your promo code but it didn’t work
I never set up a promo code ;)
sorry, i meant to correct this sooner, youre right there was no code
What size are these models once printed, such as the QE2?
Hi
As is, the QE2 is 29,4 cm long. But you can print them at any size you’d like, really - I’ve had customers made some up to 1/100. Huge.
Thank you for reply at Instagram. No hurry on Carpathia! Whenever you are ready! By the way I got two ideas for you! No doubt you heard of the duel between Rms Carmania and SS Cap Trafalgar? Those two ships would be awesome to see!
