hello , thanks for a fantastic model ( terminator face tracking ) i'm almost at the point of programming the RPI board but im having problems ing the image file.
is there anyway you could send me the image file via cults.
thanks for any and all help in this matter
( personal note i'm a compete noob to RPI boards and programming )

Thanks!

What kind of problems? The file is 8gb in size. That makes it harder to send...

hello thanks for getting back to me so fast , all i get is a screen not a screen , i dont seem to be abel to find the in your info doc .

I just checked and it works fine for me. You need to copy the whole link because the key is in the link itself. You should get a window that says that the file is too big to be loaded and beneath is a button. You can try a different browser or use incognito mode.

If it still does not work, please send me a mail to [email protected] and I'll send you a new link.

sorry for delay . didn't realise you had sent email's

thank you for all your help and understanding

Hello! I thought about buying a 3d printer for the last two years now and found some of your Designs very cool. Johnnys Arm and the delorian in particular. Do u have any recommendations of which printer I should buy to get the best results? I could spend up to 1500€. Also, do u repaint the Props u show on the listings or does the printer color them already? Thanks in advance

Hi.
Thank you!

It all depends on what you want to do with it.
If you're just a beginner you can start with machines around 400€ like the A1 if you want to print only PLA, PETG and TPU or the Elegoo Centauri if you also want to print ABS.
If you really want to spent 1.5K you can get a X1C from Bambu. Every time you watch a maker on YouTube you can see a X1C in the background printing...

The colours are painted on the model.

Hi. No sorry. Just search on YouTube there are a lot of tutorials that can better explain it than me.

Hey there, I love your Nightmare On Elm Street house but I'm confused by the Cult license wording

"What is not allowed:

No commercial use or public sharing of the 3D model;
No modification or adaptation of the 3D model for public sharing or sale;
No distribution, sale, donation or exchange of the digital files of the 3D model."

I would love to buy and make some small modifications to your file and then sell the final print (not the digital file, stl, etc.). Would you allow that? Cults only discusses what I can't do with the digital file which is completely understandable.

Thanks!

Hi. Out of curiosity, what do you want to change? Where do you want to sell it? Online? If so, please give credit to me.

Actually, the only changes would be that I would make some small, digital cutouts in the back so I can insert a circuit board, speaker, and button. I will have the unit play the theme song from the movie! I might also put a small track for an LED strip that connects to the circuit board. I would try to sell these on my Etsy shop. Of course, I would give you full credit for the design right in the listing! Thanks!

"Hi, I’m really interested in the cyberpunk arm, but I have a few questions. What is the size of the largest part (my printer is kind of small, it’s an Ender 3 S1)? Did you print it with filament or resin? And did you use any special post-processing techniques other than sanding and painting? Thanks for your time.

Hi.
I printed it on my Ender 3, so should have no problems.
It was printed in filament.
No special postprocessing. Just sand and paint it. :)

Okay thanks for your response i can't wait to print it :)

I have one last question: do you have any build instructions somewhere?"

Hello I have purchased the Days Gone Ring, I am trying to get it casted and the business I am using has emailed me saying:

“Pls note that if you wanted this casted and printed, you need to fix the hallmark inside the ring.
Embossed initials or hallmarks sizes should be 0.3mm minimum width and 0.3mm maximum depth.
The current size of your hallmark is .272mm (depth) x 0.09mm (width).”

Not too sure what this means, is this something that can be fixed? I’m using the size with a 19mm diameter.
Thanks

Hi. Sorry but I don't know what that means...

Hey, I’m currently printing/assembling your BTTF Train model and I’m having a problem with one of the base files. It’s the one named 59_base_3.stl. When I slice the file I get an error saying the G-code path goes beyond plate boundaries and because of that the print time is 130+ hours! The other base files sliced fine. This is the only one with the error. Can you check it out and repost the file? Thank you.

Hi. I checked the file and there are no errors with it. I sliced 58 and 59 with Bambu Slicer, and they had about the same print time. What slicer do you use?

I’m running a couple of Creality machines so Creality Print. I loaded the file into my CAD app and made a minor change to it and exported it and it then sliced fine. A strange one. Thx for your reply & a great model. Cheers!

i bought the time machine delorian but i cant find my files

I don't know what you mean. Is the empty?

You can parse the text in the Google Translate. If you still have issues, let me know.

Hi is possible have/buy the version with bust? And or have/buy the version with arm attached?
I see your work in IG but i not find the link for buy.
Thanks

Hi. Nope, it is not released yet.

Hi. Not sure what you mean. It is a 1:1 replica, so the length is about the length of your arm.

Thanks for the answer

I am working on T800. My vertebrae piston rod ball ts are always frozen with the socket. What position do you print them in? What resolution? Any guidances would be appreciated. Great model.

Hi. Have you tried to sand the pistons for a better clearance? You can also use some grease.

Hello once again. What type of cord did you used as im searching on alixpress to find it. But i dont know what type. Any help on it pls ?

It was a clothline.

Ok just a normal one its good pls ?

Yes just a normal one.

Hi. Thank you for letting me know. The model is already gone. What model was it?

Hi, that was the T-800 Terminator.
I have another question, I will make also the T-800 with facial recognition, and maybe I need help with that.
If you live in , then maybe it would be helpful for me :-)

Ja. Bin in Deutschland.

Hello, i m working on this t800 and i would like to ask you what type of rubber did you used for the vertebra and with what does it hold from both sides please.

Hi. I use just a rubber band I had laying around here. You can fix both sides with just a piece of filament on both sides.

Merci d’avance Vivien (French)

What do you mean? There is an instruction in the comments of the mode. -> https://www.dropbox.com/s/t2s6ytoirp115j9/bttf_train_instructions.pdf

Hi, I have zero electrical experience so never wired or anything or solderd. I want to do the t800 project. Is there a solder free option? More plug and play? Or is it really not that hard for a newbie? Thanks!

Hi. There is no plug and play version. But my advice is, just do it! If you get stuck, you can always ask me or search on YouTube for a specific problem, like advice how to solder and stuff like that. If you can't manage to make it run with electronics in the end you still have an awesome terminator skull, but if you manage to make it run you learn a lot in the process and will be very proud of yourself. If you decide to build it, please share the end result with me! I love telling stories of people who ed me with no experience and manage to build it in the end. Just know that you are not the first one. :)

Super quick reply thank you! So I have been doing some research on the arduino and it seems I can use a breadboard in place of soldering? Would this work? Even managing to do that would be an achievement for me! I'm not doing the raspberry Pi part, just the arduino!

  • 1 j’aime

You still need to solder the LEDs. You could fit the breadboard in the base but you still need to guide wires through the head to the base.

Ahhh yes the LEDs, well at least that would be less soldering I guess if I did the breadboard. Might look to it and try the leds solder.

I also see you put a video of a newer model Terminator skull! Is that coming soon? Will it be animatronic again and run the same way? Thanks! Great works!

Yeah it is also an animatronic. I don't know when to release it. It is not finished.

hi I am currently working on your ecto 1 you made but the doors keep falling off I have it at 1/18 scale or do you think it would be better to go 150%
bigger than the file

Hi. Not sure what you mean by the doors fall out. Did you fix them with a piece of filament? I designed the model at 100%. I don't know how the tolerances are at 150.

the filament keeps snapping

I am doing it at 1/18 scale and the filaments keep snapping

I'm sorry, still not sure what you mean. How much % is the 1/18 scale? The filament you use to fix the doors in place snap when you open/close them? If so you can also use a tooth pick. That should be stronger.

when ever I open or close it

hey bud i have a quick question about the skull back. it is not coming up on my end after being ed. I was able to print all parts so far but the skull back as like I said it's not showing up on my end. thanks for the awesome build though.

hey man sorry, I found the missing number 2 in my files so I'm all set. thanks again I will [post-pics when I'm finished

Hi what instructions do you get with the t800 regarding electrics ? Thanks simon

Hello i have bought the design (T800 animated Skull) . Great. Respect. You are working at the Robocop Robot i have seen.
The V2 describes in the commends (with shoulder T800 Skull ). When will it aprox be available ? Do you have any timeslot ??? . Will it be compatible ( Skull ) with the momen one. The Train Back to the future design and Ghostbuster are also cool. A lot respect again for that. The Servos are 180 degree found out. With regards Thorsten Heldt Duisburg

Moin Thorsten. Danke erstmal!

Morgen, sozial Media. Ja, habe mal was auf insta hochgeladen. thorstenheldt . Gruss Thorsten
