Hi there - is the centre of gravity on the Me163 definitely correct? I tried a glide test and it was VERY nose heavy...
The marking provide safe location using CG location derived by CGcalc tool. I do agree that it is nose heavy and can be put back up to 5mm aft from recommended location.
Cześć, kupiłem ostatnio Iskrę. Czy planujesz zwiększenie skali? Bardzo dobrze byłoby mieć Iskrę pod rozmiar przynajmniej 64m lub optymalnie 80mm edf. Pozdrawiam i gratuluję projektu Iskry. Jest piękna!
Pod 64mm wystarcy przeskalować elementy o 128%. Szerokość ścieżki też zwiększyć do ,46mm i będzie pasować.
Pozdrawiam i trzymam za slowo ws.duzej Iskry. P.s. dorzuce tez prosbe o Iryde, Grota i Biesa
Hello, your A10 is an amazing Model, but... your different versions and directories. Its not so easy to get all needed parts for the newes version of it. Can you please discribe the printing details a bit more? Bambu Studio imports only the geometry of the 3mf file. and the last... :) Did you try to add an landing gear? There is a Version at printables "Folding Landing Gear for RC Airplane" maybe you can scale it and add this to the model. that would be nice.
Frank
Hello Frank. The latest package is the rev1 (as we try to apply the change control meanings to follow the different versions). The information how to setup each of the files is included in one of the PDF files. The truth is some of the files had to be re-named to include D (details only) or LED ( lines + LEDs) to reflect the fact that the initial release was bare bone A10 without any details added. But other than that the file naming should remain consistent. As for the landing gear - there is no way that twin 40mm will fit a landing gear that is strong enough and large enough to grass runway takeoff and landing. There is basically no space to fit either the servo-less unit, or printed mechanism and normal 9g servo behind it. Maybe Twin 50mm or Twin 70mm can accommodate such feature.

Thanks man!! You are one of the designers here on Cults that I really like. I actually own your Bearcat and Komet, but just under a different name.
Thank you! Looking forward for you next models.
Greatly enjoy the model plane plan. However I am having g a very hard time printing the wings. There is an area that prints so thin that the wing segments simply split. I am printing this more for Modeling than flight. It is the square section in the wings. The walls are so thin they snap right out. Printing with standard PLA .16 layer height inner and outer wall .5. Other than the wings everything has printed and glued up flawlessly. It’s for my wife a retired A10 pilot and means a lot to me. Thank you for any help. Not sure where to send a pic to.

Please send the generated gcode file and 3mf file used to generate it to [email protected] . We will review the print settings that lead to these inconsistencies in the print.
The detailed right side vertical tail for the A-10 has the LED cutouts in it. It doesn't have the channel for the wire, but it still has the cutouts for the LED. Can you the file for that piece without the LED cutout? Thanks!
You are correct - the revised part has been ed. Thank you for the info. Happy printing!
Thank you! ing now. I also noticed that the detailed "Lightning" version of FS2 does not have alignment holes on its front face. I did not check to see if the other versions of FS2 are also missing them.
Done!
GREAT DESIGN, BUT I CAN NOT FIND WHERE THE WINGS ARE WITHIN THE AND COULD USE YOUR HELP PLEASE. THANK YOU.
Files are in specific directories - Wings are in Wings directory.
hi the file fuse 2 on the a 10 is faulty i cant slice it parts are missing when sliced , done it with 3 slicers with the same result can you fix that pleace
thanks franky
Will these files work on the X1C Bambu printer? Thanks
Yes. Majority of our designs will fit even on A1 mini.
Hello Japim,
I purchased your 3D file for the "3D-printed Me163b Komet" model and am currently trying to print it.
Unfortunately, I discovered that the print file contains the left outer wing twice instead of one left and one right wing. This is a bit frustrating. How can I get the correct file?
Thank you in advance and best regards,
Patrick
Dear Partick, you can use MIRROR function in the SLICER.
TS-11 Iskra
Hello Japim,
I recently bought your TS-11 files. Nice subject.
Would you be so kind to answer some questions about the model and solve some doubts?
I have the feeling that the instruction manual is not covering all details and my lack of experience does not help. I checked the building thread and video in the links but I didn't find clarifications.
1) I've read that wings are detachable. The assembly tutorial shows only the fuselage building and I don't understand how the wings remain attached to the fuselage if not glued.
2) fuselage parts fs3 or fs3a+fs3b: why these two alternatives/options? Which option is preferable or when it's convenient one or the other?
3) fs3 universal. I saw that the last modified date of this is more recent than the other standard part. Is this an improvement? Does it allow installation of generic fans instead of the fms (I searched for one on aliexpress and it seems that the 4s variant is becoming quite rare an pretty expensive compared to other brands). Which file version is preferable? What are the other possibile fans that can be installed, in case?
4) Do you think it would be doable to connect the two elevators with a t and move both with one servo, and use the other (and its control rod and rod channel) for the rudder, just with minor mods only to the tail?
5) I am aware that you clearly show PrusaSlicer in the instructions, but I am not familiar with it and I incidentally got bad results when trying it (possibly my fault). So I used Cura, which is the slicer I normally use, with nice results. Not sure if I'll be able to reproduce also the modifiers, but I printed the fore part of the fuselage so far and it looks good... we'll see... Is this software not suitable at all?
More questions might arise while progressing with the built, but I would be very grateful if you could reply the questions above for now.
Thank you very much in advance.
Davide
Dear Davide, thank you for reaching out. You put quite extensive number of detailed questions that we will try to answer one by one. Please give us some time to formulate and address all your concerns - maybe further manual improvements may be needed for future improved experience. Thanks, Przemek / Aircombat3D
Your questions 1, 2, 3 have been answered in the new rev 2 of the package together with the manual. For Question 4 - yes this is doable, but requires some effort. We have seen an upscaled TS11 to 64mm where the builder made that modification on his own. Very likely it will be introduced this year after we finish current backlog of new models. Question 5 - it is the best to participate in the forum or FB group to post pictures, where we can diagnose what is wrong with the print. If you are getting good results with Cura - then go for it. SuperSlicer/Prusa slicer is the software we use since the release of our first model.
Japim, Przemek, thank you for your attention and efforts. In the meantime I printed part of the airframe and bought some equipment. I'll very likely continue the talk on the rc group forum. Thanks again for the so far.
Hello. I am unable to print a usable wing for the a10 (a10_ws1.3mf) using pre-foamed LW PLA. There is a break in the outside of the bottom of the wing running the entire length 83-85mm from the back of the wing. there is no closure in the seam at that bulkhead. I have printed 3 times (old and new versions of the file) and same seam open in all of them. I have printed most of the rest of the plane parts of fusealage and tail, and while i have some surface defects in some, nothing like this as it is very specific like the toolhead just moved around it like it would in vase mode, but not using vase mode here. Bambu slicer in particular.
Any thoughts on what I may be overlooking? While I just started printing 3d planes 4 months ago, I have made 8 or so. The sliocer seems to be acting badly at this location for some reason.
please go to rcgroups: https://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?4645571-A10-Twin-40mm-EDF or send photos and screenshots from the slicer for troubleshooting: [email protected]
Hi, what is the winspan size, weight (A10 40mm) ? Do you have a manual or list where I can see the parts required and a test file?
Here is a build thread: https://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?4645571-A10-Twin-40mm-EDF
Hello!
I am looking for The Chipmunk and other planes file that were on the now defunct 3Daeroadventure website. I was wondering if you still would have them and are willing to share them with me. Thank you!
Hello. Thank you for the question - but the models made by 3DAeroadventures belongs to them and we cannot carry them or share them. Please check rcgroups.com for a discussion where to find them.
Hello, what is printed in LW-PLA and what in PLA. Is there a list of what the individual parts can weigh and is it something for flying quickly...
The model can be entirely printed in LW-PLA. Depending on the LW material (active foaming, or pre-foamed) just set the proper temperature and flow in slicer using the 3MF files. From the experience the weight of the parts do not play a crucial role - you will spend more time fixing your printer than enjoying the model. And yes - Me163 can fly really fast if a hot power setup is installed (motor + prop).
Hello, the rear fuselage part of the Me163 is always open in my studio (Bambu Studio), but on the drawings the end is closed, it should be printed in vase mode?
How do I get the tail closed?
Greetings Olaf

I have done
Hi, I have bought KI-44 model 3Mf files, and found there is some print stability issure: WS1 file after sliceing shows unconnected line???
I am glad that the issue has been resolved.
Nice model and newly released. Why cannot a promo code be applied?
Coupon codes are case sensitive. if that doesn't work please send us an email: [email protected]
Thank you, that was the problem.
Hi, I bought the model for the IAR80 and I am trying to figure out what settings should be used for the printing. I am new to this, so I don't know how its meant to be printed, I don't see anywhere indications to what nozzle diameter to use, or what infill, from comments I gather that I should be using vase mode, I assume only on some parts, but when I try to print the parts come out too thin, I used right now a K1max with 0.4 nozzle. can you please give me some indications, or where too look for more info.
Thank you very much.
Please open the 3MF files in the slicer -> preferably Super Slicer. All settings are saved inside the 3MF file. All you need to do is hit "slice" - to generate the gcode.
And how do you define "too thin". These models are single 0.4mm thick perimeter - they will be thin. If you use active foaming LW-PLA - just change the extrusion multiplier in the setting, and set proper nozzle temperature. It is possible to achieve 0.6mm thick walls with LW-PLA and still relatively low weight. This should give you the best point for thickness/ rigidity and weight.
I bought a plane, but it didn't have an STF file in the Zip ?
Please check the "Fiat G55 initial release.zip" file. It should be 67.1 MB in size.
Szanowny Panie Przemysławie,
Wczoraj dokonałem zakupu danych do druku i budowy modelu Tempesta Mk. Model mam zamiar zbudować przede wszystkim z LW-PLA i z mechanizmami chowania podwozia głównego. Będzie on głównie operował z pasa asfaltowego i nie zamierzam używać go ani do walk powietrznych, ani do ekstremalnych figur akrobatycznych.
Mogę udostępnić go do testów beta (pliki 3mf), ale wymagać będzie samodzielnego drukowania i ewentualnych poprawek.
Hello, please, we saw an F7F Tiger somewhere on Facebook - I assume it's your work. Unfortunately, I couldn't find it - can I ask for a link to Facebook? Thank you
Here is initial link to forum. F7F is with no retractable landing gear yet. I am introducing improvements and fixes to findings gathered during prototype build. It is airwothy but has some errors that should be corrected before public release. It can be build by an experienced builder if needed. http://www.aircombat.pl/ACES/forum/viewtopic.php?p=2655
HI, is it possible to see the instruction manual of the Hawker Tempest before purchasing the files, please ? Thank you ! Regards Markus
Manual is exploded view. Ki61 test files provide good build manual. https://cults3d.emulatorsite.com/en/3d-model/various/kawasaki-ki61-1-12-r-c-flying-3d-printed-model-test-pieces
Hey Japim! Thanks for being one of the first to my "Super Flying Man". Hope you enjoy it as much as I have. Figured I would make something a little different this time. Still getting use out of your Komet from last year. Broke the Bearcat unfortunately though. Hope you like it, Bill.
I liked it so much that I had to have one Flying Superman for myself.
Don't forget to the actual "SuperMan" files. They are separate due to copyright.
