Hi! I recommend any brand of Kailh 3-pin box white key switches. Just make sure they say "3-pin", because there are also Kailh 5-pin which are called V2. Don't buy those. I wish I could send you an Amazon link, but Cults doesn't allow it. I hope that helps!

Make sure you have 3 pin key switches, and that you've clipped off the bottom metal prongs. Feel free to shoot me an email at [email protected] and I can help you figure it out! Hello! I will definitely help you figure this out. The Kailh box white switches should fit just fine (although I believe the V2 is a 5 pin, not a 3 pin. 5 pin will not fit in clicky fidgets). Can I ask are you using the new fire file I ed last week or the old one? If you are using the new one, it may be that your fire is in backwards. Try turning it around and let me know if it works. I work with a large group of dedicated testers to be sure every file works well before ing, so it should work. Let me know. I want it to be great for you!

After work today I'll it again and see if that makes a difference! The switches I'm using have the metal leads cut off, if these were made with the idea of them being there and bent in mind. Is the pack version where it's bundled with food clickers etc updated too? That's the version I have, "Clicky Fidgets and Keychains Collection 1" ed on the 16th of this month.

Oh my goodness. I just realized that on Thangs it updates the collection when I new files, but on Cults it does not! I'm so sorry! I will update that now. I updated the ramen lid, too. But that's it so far. I'm slowly updating all the models to the new cap design. The old ones work fine, the new ones just work with more clickers. But my favorite these days are the Kailh box white original. But I didn't have those in the beginning, so I hope they fit in all of them!! I'm updating them as fast as I can. Let me know if you have any other issues!!

Yes, definitely cut the leads off. But be sure that the bottom only has one center plastic cylinder, and not two other plastic pieces sticking down.

As far as modifications to the design, I am fine with color changes and adding names. As long as I still get credit for the model, and you state that the differences are your own. But you cannot sell the digital file, even with modifications. And please don't add to or change the parts of the model. Thanks!

Oh I never had plans to resell the files! I just wanted to try and put some prints on Etsy, and thought about a version of the dumpster with words like "me" or the buyer's name, or (insert year requested here), or possibly printing the cute one's eyes as a separate object to glue in to save filament, or maybe using a smaller keychain hole size with a negative hole modifier, and I like to make sure I ask before doing any tweaks like that. I'm definitely going to credit you and list what aspect I changed if I list it like that!

I don't mind the colors and names, but changing the keyring holes and separating parts is actual modifications of the model. So please ensure that the quality stays the same so the integrity of my models stays intact. Thank you!!
I actually plan to make one with a name plate. Just hadn't gotten there yet. And I wanted to make one with an American flag dumpster....just because. Ha ha.

As an update, I've gotten the version of the dumpster base and the fire from the updated files, and it now works as expected! At first I didn't notice the fire was updated since the name didn't say "UPDATE", but I saw it had been adjusted too, the old fire in the new dumpster had the same issue, but the new fire in the new dumpster worked perfectly. It was difficult to print the fire at first, I noticed, so I'll leave some notes in case it helps you, or in case you can tell me where I screwed up on my end.

If I attempted to use the settings used for the dumpster 3mf on the fire, the left of the two elements that hook into the middle of the key switch would print in two separate bits with very small inner walls being laid down first, almost always being pulled up by the nozzle. If I reverted the settings and went with more simplistic settings(8% gyroid, 2 to 3 walls, 0.2 layer height), it seemed to print fine.

It's possible I've had the wrong assumption about the settings in the 3MF file being warranted for both the dumpster and the flame, however. If that's the case I'll try and that for other things(I want to try the taco and the ramen soon, but I really was wanting to see how the "metal" dumpster and the fire looked with my silk filaments first!)

To avoid cluttering too much here, can you let me know where would be ideal to do a private back and forth discussion on the settings/the fire's base in general, since I did get it working(2 walls, 8% gyroid, 0.2 layer height) to feel out what might have been going on or misunderstood with the 3MF? Hi! I'm so glad you like the model. It definitely makes me smile. If you use the 3mf file, they are all separated. But I see the current STL file is not. I'm going to change that, and a new folder for you with all separate files! Give me an hour, and re the new file (dated 0119).

Could I pay you to create dumpster file in STL that has four dumpsters with eyes and keychain? I want to give them to my bingo gals for good luck. As it is print takes 4 hours and only one keychain dumpster with eyes in that file. I will pay! I’m just limited with experience and tools. Thank you for your kindness! I created and ed two files for you. One has four keychain bases with face. The other has four fire tops. Please let me know if those work for you. I am excited for you to print these for your bingo ladies!

Thank you soooo much! I was able to load the four flame tops but I can’t seem to get the four bases to load. I just get an error message that it failed to . Given my limited abilities I don’t know the issue. Maybe four is too many for my machine size although I have enough digital space. I will print them one by one but the four tops will help expedite the process. Thank you again for helping me!!

Hmmm.. let me take a look. In Bambu Studio they all are on different plates. Are you talking about the STL or the 3MF file? If they load as one unit you should be able to "split to parts" and then move them around. But let me see what I can do!

And I know...those threads were a disappointment. I'm sooooo sorry!! They are super strong now!!!
