Hello! maybe it sounds strange, but some time ago (about a year ago) I ed from cults a model to modify the cooling shroud of an ender 3 max neo with 2 noctua 4020, it was my favorite model of all I tried, but recently a piece broke and wanted to find it, but no longer existed in cults or thingiverse, but by the style that has the model you ed, I think you are the author of the model I mentioned, if possible, I would like to re- the model or if necessary, buy it. because I liked it very much. Thanks in advance, have a nice day!

I never made a cooling shroud for an ender 3 max neo with 2 noctua 4020 fans. Mine is for the noctua 2010 and for free.

Oh, I see, I'm sorry for the mistake. Have a nice Day!!

Hi, thanks for sharing! I was wondering if your design is compatible with the Creality CR-20 Pro?

It took a while before you received your answer and it is not what you hoped to read.
I don't know, I don't have a Creality CR-20 Pro to compare it.
What I can see is that the Creality CR-20 Pro has a completely different hotend and housing.
My first thought I'm afraid it doesn't fit.
But! Here in the Netherlands we have a proverb.
"Je weet maar nooit hoe een koe een haas vangt." = "You never know how a cow will catch a hare."
The proverb means that you don't know how something will turn out and how something unlikely can just happen. It is often used to encourage yourself or others to just try things, even if you are not sure whether it will be a success.

thank you for making this compatible with the ender 3 v2 neo

👍

Paul has discontinued his Minimus for the Neo, is there any chance of you continuing with your cooling duct?

Yes, that is unfortunately a disappointment, he had to take into so many variations and encountered too many things that made the design too complicated.
Sometimes it doesn't work.

I based my design on only one type of Heatsink fan and one type of nozzle fan.

Cooling ducts is the most difficult part of the whole.
I won't change that.
My knowledge in working in CAD is too limited for that.

Whether the other parts will receive adjustments in the future, we will see.
But for now you have to make do with the Minimus NEO as it is now.

The plan is to make a manual, use the original Minimus from Rogue Paul and adapt it for a NEO with CR-Touch.
So not for the BL-Touch, because I don't have one.

The only question is when I have time for that.
Other things now have a higher priority.

Hey!

Im curious about printing this upgrade for my ender 3 v2 neo but im kinda novice on 3d printing and altering cables etc.
Upgrading to 2 cooling fans, what do i need more exactly? How do i, in the most easiest way, add another cooling fan without connecting it to the motherboard?

I cant find the products that im searching for (2 pin Y-connectors etc). Do you have any tips on videos that show this exact procedure or maybe link me to some useful products on amazon?

Some knowledge is actually required if you are going to change something on your printer.
If you do not want to adjust the cable(s) on the motherboard, you still have to cut a cable somewhere and make a connection between the cable coming from the motherboard and the two fans.
You will either have to solder and insulate the connection or work with a splitter, but these are usually too large.
All fans around the HotEnd are 24 V.
So you also have to buy 24 V fans as replacements or additions.
Before making any changes to your printer, search and review information on the Internet.
First read what Rogue Paul wrote with his Minimus Hotend Cooler System from which I derived it.

See what you can find out about Ender 3 V2 NEO printers on YouTube.
Creality itself also has several videos on YouTube.
Here's their general page.

And here one more focused on the Ender 3 V2 NEO

Search and search is my advice.
But others contribute too.

Maybe the face book group "Ender 3 Neo Series Owners / Ender 3 V2 Neo / Ender 3 Max Neo". https://www.facebook.com/groups/1554614221620098
You can see and read a lot there.
As indicated earlier, you will have to cut a cable to get the second fan to work.
Do that about 20 cm from the fan so that you have enough cable left.
You must have the Yellow Blue cable.
Slide the black casing back as far as it will go.
Yellow is (+) Blue is (-).
Most fans have a red and black cable.
Amazon is an option to get to the fans.
You can use the original ones from Creality, but they make quite a bit of noise (dB).
I have the "Furiiga DC Brushless Fan 40 x 40 x 10 mm, 24 V. 25 dB, 5365 ± 10% RPM."
You have to see if the dB is stated, which should preferably be lower than 30 dB or just above it.
If you are not handy it will be difficult.

Thank you so soo much for this. Im quite handy and been solving most problems on my own, its just overwhelming at times. This isnt something i need to do, but i like pushing my boundaries at times, and i love learning new things, especially when it comes to upgrades for my 3d printing. Their is sooo much information out there, almost too much at times... And different fixes etc. This information will probably help me alot. So thank you again. 🙂

Hi there, does your remix design of minimus work with ender 3 v2 neo? I have the same printer and wondering if it works. Thank you :)

It is for the Ender 3 V2 NEO. It is still work in progress. But the printer is printing with the last version.
Look on Thinkercad there are the last test versions.
I wait till I think its ok, then I the filles here.
