Which accessory are you thinking of?

You can checking "Creality K1, K1C roof riser with openable windows (ventilation)" of sizes. I ed a new picture with frame size for checking.

I wasn't thinking about hinges, the tiny screws of the frame wouldn't be able to handle it. It could easily tear off.

Too bad, I have printed a version from somebody else but I don't like how the ventilation is handled.

There are many solutions; I tried to create one that is easy to print and requires minimal assembly.

I have removed the review. and after further testing I was going reply with this -

I am indeed certain that the pins are too large for my printer. I have had to get replacements for my printer recently due to manufacturer defects. and there are small but noticeable differences in this current printer that I have.

It is entirely plausible that there is a small difference in the fan on my printer causing it to not be compatible. My digital calipers are not the best quality, however it is showing that the pin that currently fits (printed at 95%) is about 4.2mm which is the measurement that I am also getting for the opening of the hole. The pins at printed 100% read about 4.5-4.6mm, and are too large to try to insert. I tried with considerable force, printed multiple copies before adjusting the size, and even sanded some of them down to try to slide in easier, but couldn't even get one started.

As far as the cover goes, I don't think I could get a better print. I currently have a very nicely printed cover piece, no warping, layer shifts, stringing, or noticeable flaws with the finished piece. The 100% pins do take a bit of effort (nothing crazy) but will fit in the holes of the cover snugly without falling out. I am only able to use the left hole on the bottom left point, the right hole on the bottom right, and the right hole on the top point. Any other attempt at using different holes causes the other two holes to be nowhere near where they need to be, but the top hole is still slightly too far to the right to be of any use.

I've since printed a free cover using a different file that the designer specifically made for his K1 max, and I am having the exact same issue. I can get two of the same bottom holes lined up (but not inserted as the pegs are too large, reading 4.5-4.6mm as well) and the top peg is fractions of a mm too far to the right to line up properly. I am certain that this newer printer has to be slightly different than other K1 max fans as I doubt that multiple files from different designers would reproduce the same error.

Unfortunately, the K series is not a mature technology, Creality released it too quickly. It seems they changed something again. Unfortunately, this puts many people in an uncertain situation.
Maybe you could help me by measuring the size of the side fan outlet flat opening? Among my models, there is LED lighting that can be installed there - it may have changed. (I hope not)

Sure thing, if I measure that top rectangle opening I'm getting about 118.5mm

The LED console's right side is closed because this way the LED does not shine into the camera. The camera lens is in the shade, resulting in a nicer image. I created a version for you with a 4mm hole in this wall so you can thread the wire through. Another solution you can try is mirroring the existing bracket before printing, as the attachment is symmetrical. This way, the closed wall will be on the left side.
