The coins are not part of the customization.
You can use the original cardboard coins or buy metal coins in a pirate theme.

I don’t have a printer so a friend does them for me. I’ve stored the 2 extra figureheads in the cube tray.

Hello,
The file for Pirates of Maracaibo with expansion says that it accommodates all the figureheads including the promos and expansion. There are 12 in the base game, 4 in the expansion and 2 promos totalling 18. However the piece that holds them will only 16. Would also be helpful if there pictures showing how the Treasure Island boards and Ship boards are stored. Thank you.

The larger boards are stored under the trays.

I was unable to fit 18 figureheads and keep the original dimensions. The insert is already very tight.
I have added 4mm to all the central trays. Sorry if this means you have to re-print them.

I have mine scaled at:
biomatter: 30%
kelp: 31%
science: 33%
steelplast: 25%
tunnel + upgrade: 15% (make sure you scale them equal)
credit 1, 5 and 10: 27%
