Hi again Thinking of a way to print the wings in a different color, maybe by printing the model in the color of the wings and then painting the rest of the model except the wings, I think it's an easy way to get the model with the wings with different color Also, if you don't want the text on the bottom of the model, they can be puttyed before painting.

Hi, I purchased your three bee models but cannot get it print correctly without additional s. The speed guidelines follow what you suggest. Can you explain what you mean by 0.8 mm and upwards? I printed it in PLA with a layer height of 0.25 mm. My minimum shell thickness is 0.9 mm for the top.

In answer to your question, O.8mm I am referring to the wall thickness. In my tests, with this wall thickness, the print already has resistance for normal use. By reducing the wall thickness and without interior filling, printing is fast and without using too much plastic. Of course you can use the thickness you want, increasing the thickness, the result will be a more resistant model. If you use another thickness, such as 0.9 mm, anywhere on the model, it doesn't matter. Less than 0.8 mm in total thickness would not be recommended because it would result in a poorly resistant model. And whether the layer is 0.2 or 0.25 mm, I don't see that it affects the printing.
The tests I have carried out with these models, although the shapes are really complex, the models WITH S, print without problems.
I normally use a simple Prusa i3 Hephestos printer with the Cura slicer, 1.75 diameter filament and 0.4mm extruder.

Hola SHARONBRANDON gracias por adquirir el archivo! He mirado las imágenes de las impresiones. Parece como si al imprimir los archivos, se han juntado piezas una encima de otra y el resultado ha sido una pieza única. Las piezas insectivorous.stl y union.stl están unidas y en el hueco del encaje parece que hay algo que no deberia estar, también en la pieza carnivorous.stl también dentro del hueco para el encaje hay algo. He revisado los archivos STL de Cults y en principio los veo separados correctamente y los encajes estan bien.
Si lo deseas, puedo enviarte de nuevo los archivos STL directamente a la dirección que me indiques o que te los descargues de alguna manera. En todo caso, si detectamos un error o una mejora en los archivos STL los modifico para que los tengas de nuevo, pero al estar el problema creo en la impresión, aparte de enviarte los mismos, no se como ayudarte más.
Espero que puedas solucionar el problema y puedas disfrutar pronto del modelo. Saludos.

If you print it to a larger size, you will have to take into the material and the weight, so that the legs of the mantis hold up and do not deform due to the weight.
In the original model, a print without infill is recommended, to save plastic and reduce the weight of the model. Even so, in my tests with PLA, after a year, there is a slight deformation of the legs without importance.
