Hi! If you don't mind, I would like to ask you someting. You mention any piece of epic miniatures. Do you have Epic models and you plan to release them at some point? Thanks in advance and thanks again for your work.

I don't really have much in the epic space, only a few odds and ends that I've picked up, no plans to work on epic broadly.

Hi! I want to thank you your work. I wanted those ships for decades. Very good job. Thank you again.

Got access to or interest in doing the tyranid models? Becasue if the answers are "no" and "yes: we should chat

I'd looked into it, but I'd already spent a fair bit of $$$ to get some collections for the Imperial & Eldar models, and the Tyranid stuff looked to be much harder to find.

I'd be open to chatting about it if you have models you'd be willing to lend, but it's worth noting that I've only been working with models that I can strip to bare metal to prep for scanning, I've avoided working with people's painted models. Something else to consider is timeframe, I was scanning 1-2 models per week then doing the digital cleanup on the weekends.

If you'd like to chat more about it, you can find me on the BattleFleet Gothic Discord, just search for the person posting all the Space Fleet models.

Thanks for s, especially for the harder to find items. By chance, what do you use for scanning them?

Hey, appreciate the post, I've used an OpenScan Mini for all these so far. If you're interested in scanning and want to know more I'd say drop in the OpenScan discord and take a look around. Shout if you have any questions.

Awesome, thanks for pointing me in the right direction.

Hey I just found a copy of the original space fleet with the plastic models in it and will be getting it in a couple of weeks at the latest. Was wondering if you had the battleship or the elder ship already to get the scan from. If not I’d be willing to ship them to you along with a self addressed package you could ship them back to me in. It would be completely worth it to me to have access to the files you can produce. Let me know. Jeff

I have all the models in metal and plastic, thankfully someone else in a Space Fleet community lent me the handful I didn't have.

Really appreciate the offer, hope you get your models soon!

Thank you so much for doing these. Any plans on doing some others from SF? The scans are great, I'm very curious to know what you used?

I'm working through all the Imperial and Eldar ships from Space Fleet. I'll have a few others odds and ends as well.

I'm scanning with an OpenScan machine, cleaning things up with Blender, and prepping models for printing with Prusa Slicer.
