Hello! I have some of your doll stand files, I really love them! I was wondering if you had any plans to make another shelf (like Shelf 02 - Etagere) that is compatible with your Generation 3 stands? Thanks!

Hi,
Thank you for your message. I'm very happy about the positive on my files!

Regarding your question:
I haven't yet considered creating a version compatible with my G3 stands.

Problems I see:
- My print bed (256x256x256mm) is too small for a 3-3/2-3 configuration (in the current design of the "Shelf 02 - Etagere").
- The configuration would also no longer fit into the acrylic display cases shown.

So, before I start thinking about a version compatible with my G3 stands, I have a few questions:
-What size print bed do you have?
-Do you need compatibility with the acrylic display cases, or can you do without them?
-Would a 2-2/1-2 configuration be sufficient for you?

Best regards,
3Deee

Thank you so kindly for your reply!

My print is bed is 220 * 220 * 250mm. The g1 shelf actually didn't fit on mine, I cut the base in half before printing and plastic melded them after cooling. I don't need the display case at all, I have mine set up on some open shelves/bookcases. I have a smaller room, and the first g1 shelf you did was such a good solution to display more than I had been capable of.

No worries at all if you decide not to do a new g3 one. Either way I will continue to watch for new files, thanks again for the lovely designs! :)

Hey,

i changed the design a bit so that it should theoretically fit the G3 Stands.

Picture1
Picture 2

It´s a 2-2-2 design.

The longest part is roundabout 238mm long, so you would have to cut it again.

If you want to print it without garanty that it works let me know. then i will it.

Best regards

You´re welcome :-)

can you send me instructions plz

Hey, thanks for your purchase.

There should be instructions (printing/assembly) included in the .zip file.
What further instructions can i provide to you?

Best regards 3Deee

Assembly instructions

Nvm ty for making this file! Appreciate it!

Ok,
so you found the Assembly_XXXX.pdf in the .zip file and don´t need further assembly instructions, did i understand this correct?

Best regards

There is no way to print the error because it is not opening
I drag the file to the slicer and it does not open in the program

which slicer do you use?

Chitupro

i try to this slicer.. which printer do you use?

Ender 3 v3 se

Hey, i have no problems to open the files.
Here, for example one screenshot in chitubox slicer:
https://ibb.co/Y48Q6vvk

So let´s just go to the beginning.

1.) the .zip folder from cults
2.) unzip the .zip folder
3.) now it is (at least for me) possible to open the .stl from the folders in the slicer.

Did you do these steps?

Please another slicer and test if it is possible to import the .stl into a different slicer

maybe orca slicer

Here a screenshot from orca slicer
https://ibb.co/hFWnCGQ1

Please don´t forget to remove your 0,5 star rating of my design - there seems to be nothing wrong with my design. Thank you.

I followed those instructions but they are not hollow they are printing out solid. What programs did you use?

I use bambu slicer which should be the same as orca slicer

hey tigerlillie,

you have to activate the "vase mode" in your slicer.

Please have a look in the ed folder.

There you should find a text file ("printing_optionsetcetc.txt") which contains the settings you have to make in your slicer. For best results, it is important, that you follow all of these settings.

I hope this answer was helpful.

If you have any further questions, please feel free to me again.

Best regards
3Deee

I followed those and it’s printing them out as a solid container not a hollow container

Hey,

the parts are solid bodies, so it is necessary to tell your slicer to print them in "Vasemode" (that means printing only the outer Wall). It could also be called "spiralize outer contour" in your slicer. i found this video on youtube. As i am not familiar with Cura-Slicer, i hope this helps:

I am getting errors when sending this to my K2 plus. The printer starts the first layer (after initial calibration) and then gives me a xs2060 error. I did my fair share of troubleshooting and no matter what I do, it fails after doing approx 20% of layer 1. Any ideas on how I can fix this?

Hey, that doesn´t sound good...
In my opinion, if the print starts an then stops while printing the first layer, it seems to be a mechanical/electrical problem. If i google the code 2060, there are a lot of people experiencing this code.

Did you try this?

Maybe here are also some helpful informations:

I have been all over the World Wide Web & Reddit :) That other link has some good info like the XY Homing test. I will try that and some of the other suggestions. I am currently printing something (successfully) at the moment which is why I don't think it is what some of the other people were experiencing. I will say this.. I noticed some "poop" in the chute that was hanging on for dear life but it wasn't obstructing the exit. After this print finishes I will try it again and report back :) Thanks for the quick replies!

Or maybe this helps?
It´s the error 2060 on an K1Max, don´t know if the printers are comparable..

Error 2060 on K1max

Or maybe this? it says to export the logs to the to get additional help...

Update.. Right after that successful print, I immediately started printing some of the components and it completed just fine. I did not do another other troubleshooting... XS2060 is a tricky error code but I feel like it was that little bit of poop in the chute. Maybe it was causing the faults. So ONWARD! Thanks for all the help, I just wanted you to know and anyone else who may have a similar issue.

You're welcome.
Thanks for the information👍

Hi, I've just purchased your design and ed the zip file. The zip only seems to contain a PDF and a txt file with instructions. How do I het the actual models?

I've already found them. The models are placed in a folder with the name '.stl', but folders and files starting with a point are hidden on a mac filesystem by default. Its not a problem for me anymore but maybe you could change the folder name to models instead of .stl to prevent problems for other s in the future

Hi, thank you for your purchase!

Sorry to hear that.
When i click on the Preview of the .ZIP File here at cults, there are .stl included?!
Maybe in a separate folder.

Sorry for your inconvinience, i will be able to check it this afternoon!

Best regards, 3Deee

Hey, glad to hear that. Thanks for your constructive

Changed the folder name. Thanks again for telling me
