Oh, good evening, Master or Madame—whichever title suits you.

Master Wayne instructed me to along this mask. He’s moved on to another design, but between you and me, the little Robins aren’t quite ready to take up the mantle just yet. I suspect you are, though.

This particular cowl comes from Master Wayne’s second year as The Batman. Crafted by hand, by both him and myself, it carries the weight of a young man full of anger, calling himself vengeance. But we’ve seen him grow beyond that now, haven’t we? He’s learned that Batman is more than just vengeance—it’s justice, and, if I may say, perhaps even hope.

Master Wayne once told me something quite profound—perhaps in a moment of weakness, though he’d never it it: "Batman is a symbol. Anyone can be The Batman." And perhaps that anyone is you, at least for now. Every city still needs saving, after all.

This cowl reflects his early journey—a little rough around the edges, just as he was, but filled with potential. It features easily removable magnetic slots, allowing you to apply that eye-liner with precision. The neck collar can be attached or left off, depending on your preference, as well as the chin guard. The mask offers several configurations—whether you wear it as a complete piece or just the cowl itself. Much like the infinite Batmen across the multiverse, the possibilities are endless.

Master Bruce is already working on new versions of his iconic mask—something grander, perhaps—but this one holds a special place in his heart. It’s a reminder that even the darkest nights can teach us to fight for more than just ourselves. Soon, he’ll meet others who’ll help him understand just how much Gotham—and the world—needs him, not just as a symbol but as a man.

Alfred’s Printing Recommendations:

"Ah, good evening. Now, if you’re planning on printing this mask—cowl, helmet, or however you fancy calling it—allow me to provide some advice to ensure it comes out as splendidly as possible.

Master Eikki tested it on his Prusa MKS3+, with a printing bed of 18x18x20 cm. However, the Creality CR-10 V3 is currently occupied by none other than that sexy lady mercenary. It seems Master Eikki’s working on some new toys for her to match the loudly merc with a mouth, so I’d suggest you keep an eye out for those surprises.

For filament, PLA+ is always a solid choice—strong and reliable. However, if you’d prefer something a bit more comfortable, especially for the neck collar and chin sections, I’d recommend TPA or TPU (flexible filaments). This will not only make the neck and chin pieces more comfortable but also prevent any unfortunate pinches while wearing them. In fact, if you’re in the mood, you could even print the entire cowl with flexible filament for maximum comfort.

When placing the pieces in your slicer, lay them horizontally with the most important details facing upwards to ensure the s don’t mar the surface. It’s much like polishing a fine pair of Oxfords—precision is key.

Master Eikki also has his preferred settings, though I dare say every printer is a little temperamental in its own way. Do feel free to adjust as needed:

— First Layer Density: 11%
— Top Z Distance: 0.24 mm
— Pattern: Honeycomb
— Pattern Spacing: 7 mm
— Bottom Interface Layers: Same as Top
— XY Separation: 0.8 mm
— Don’t Bridges: Enabled

Speed Settings (A word of caution—printers sense fear):
— Perimeters: 240 mm/s
— Small Perimeters: 24 mm/s
— External Perimeters: 24 mm/s
— Infill: 330 mm/s
— Solid Infill: 330 mm/s
— Top Solid Infill: 330 mm/s
— Material: 500 mm/s
— Material Interface: 500 mm/s
— Bridges: 330 mm/s
— Gap Fill: 330 mm/s
— First Layer Speed: 24 mm/s

Master Eikki relies primarily on Prusa Slicer but has also tested on Cura Slicer and Orca Slicer—everything should work smoothly, but adjustments may be necessary. And if that weren’t enough, he just received a mysterious call from Zordon—one can only imagine what that’s about.
