Introducing the Scribbler Tails Mold for the 4-inch Smooth Body and Ringed Body Scribbler 6-Cavity Finesse Worm Injection Molds!
Enhance your bait-making with this innovative mold from Making Baits, designed to produce twelve smooth bulbous, tear-drop shaped tails that can be placed in either the 4-inch Smooth Body Scribbler or the 4-inch Ringed Body Scribbler molds. This allows for the creation of baits with different color tails, providing versatility and creativity in your designs.
With 12 cavities per mold, you can fill two of the Scribbler molds at once for increased productivity. This mold requires approximately 1.5 fluid ounces of plastisol to fill, making it super simple to inject even for the most novice bait makers. Designed to be used with a standard 5/8-inch nozzle soft plastics hand injector, this mold also utilizes twelve 1/4"-20 bolts that are 1.25-inches long with wingnuts to provide proper clamping force and prevent flashing.

Printing Instructions
- Layer Height: 0.10 to 0.20mm
- Shells: 10-12
- Infill Pattern: Gyroid
- Infill Density: 25%
I recommend printing the mold at a layer height of 0.10 to 0.20mm with a minimum of 10 shells, with up to 12 shells being ideal. A thicker shell in each mold cavity will help prevent warping from the heat of hot plastisol. Print with 25% infill with the Gyroid Infill pattern only. I find that Gyroid Infill is better at stabilizing the mold cavities in all dimensions. No material is needed. If your slicing program asks for s, simply decline. It's asking to the label on the bottom of the mold, and that is easily bridgeable.

Warning: Pouring Soft Plastic Baits is extremely dangerous, and involves pouring molten vinyl plastisol at 350f (177c), and produces toxic fumes that require an organics rated respirator to filter out properly. Only work with plastisol with the proper safety equipment, knowledge, and adequate ventilation.
