🖨️ Printing Your Smurfette Figurine:

Let's get this little blue sweetheart printed perfectly!

I printed mine tilted over backwards about 30 degrees. I would say with hindsight, 35 to 40 degrees may have produced fewer auto s and smoother overhangs. (Not that it was bad, but there is room for marginal improvement of the overhang under the chin to get it smoother... (I use slow overhang speeds)

Recommended Machine Type: FDM (Fused Deposition Modeling).

Materials:
* Multi-Color (AMS Version - .3MF): PLA or PLA+ is highly recommended for those iconic Smurfette colors.
* Suggested Colors (Classic Smurfette): Blue (skin), Yellow (hair), White (dress, hat, shoes), Black (eyes/details)
* Single-Color (STL Version): PLA, PLA+, PETG. Resin can also be used for a very smooth finish if painting.

Print Settings (General Recommendations - Fine-tune to Your Printer):
* Recommended Print Size: [Specify default height - e.g., approx. 100mm-300mm tall].
* Layer Height (FDM):
* 0.08mm - 0.30mm is recommended to capture the smoothness of her features, hair texture, and dress details. Printing at 0.08-0.10mm can achieve near-imperceptible layer lines.
* Infill (FDM): 5% - 10% gyroid is adequate for this display figurine.

* Yes, s will likely be needed. Refer above

*   **3 to 4mm Tree s (organic s)** are highly recommended for easier removal and a cleaner finish.

  • Ensure your filament order in your Bambu Lab AMS (or similar system) matches the color assignments within the provided .3MF project file for accurate multi-color printing.
• Approximate Size (Default Model File): 100mm.

Assembly:

Finishing (Adding that Smurfy Sparkle!):
* Multi-Color Prints: Minimal finishing should be needed beyond careful removal.
* Single-Color STL Prints (as shown in your "1 color stl" image):
* Carefully remove all s.
* Light sanding on interface areas can improve smoothness.
* Apply a good quality primer (white is ideal for her bright colors). Lightly sand after primer dries to smooth defects.
* Acrylic paints are perfect for capturing her classic blue skin, blonde hair, and white outfit.
* A matte or satin varnish will protect your paint job.
