Make’s description
I ended up printing this twice. The first print looks to have warped, so the end of the duct stops the head from touching the plate.
The second attempt was much more promising. I'll update this on how the print quality looks once I've done a few prints; I'm just doing bed-level calibrations before a large print.
I can say this: the fan is so powerful that it took my bed longer to get to 100 degrees than before! I'm looking forward to the results of this print.
My thanks to the creator!
Suggestions to the creator:
* Perhaps make a part list so s can easily pick their part list and print. This way, it idiot proofs it for people like me, who spent way too much time looking at each component and, in the end, printing more than I needed.
* The written instructions in the zip should be revised; I just figured it out myself. Instead, the focus should be on the above part lists.
* Maybe I missed this, but clearly, you will need to cut the original fan and splice in the fan cables to complete the connection. Include requirements: Soldering iron, heat shrink, nuts, bolts, etc., into a concise list.
* Include in your instructions print suggestions (I know they are on the main page at the bottom), but it would be nice to get everything you need in the packaged zip file.
* Don't take the above as a negative critique, just suggestions to improve this for your next purchasers. Thank you!
Suggestions for would-be printers:
* This part works and fits the Creaility Sprite Pro extruder. It works great and is worth the time and money.
* Look closely at the pictures I posted and the pictures the designer made to get a good idea of how it all goes together.
* If you don't have a soldering iron, don't bother getting this. You need one.
* A cable splicing vice works great; you should print one before this.
* Dile in your printing material before doing your print. Print this slowly.
I'm quite happy with the results! Happy Printing
