Hi there!
Do you have a file of only the springs? I printed everything in PLA and would like to print the springs in PETG like suggested.
Thanks in advance.

Hi there!

Hi! Yes, of course! Please me via Instagram (sonndersmith) and I’ll send you the link to the files from my Google Drive.
can i yoouse pla?
Hi!
Sorry for the delay, for some reason I missed a notification about your comment. Springs won’t work in PLA, the other parts can be printed out of it.
Hi Sonndersmith, thank you very much for creating such a cool mask. I ed your files to ‘craftcloud3d.com’. I choose ‘Tough Resin’ for the material. The printer told me they finished printing the parts, but due to thin wall thickness, many details were broken. The printer is asking me to revised your files (they said the wall thickness should >0.5mm). Can you kindly give me with some ? My email is ‘[email protected]’ should you need to get a hold of me.
Thank you so much Sonndersmith!
Johnny
I printed and wore this, and discovered two major issues:
1: the head strap assembly does not work for me - the pegs pop out of the sockets when I try to tighten the strap, the parts that the strap goes through dig into my cheekbones, and I've found a single strap can't handle the stress of forces of pull in different directions and stay on my head. I recommend something like the 3M 7581 strap.
2: the height of my face (from chin to nasal bone) is longer than yours, so to sit comfortably the mask must be 1/4 open. To be closed, it sits on the nose cartilage and digs into soft tissue when trying to open my mouth.
3: not a major issue, but I had to hot glue the magnets in place, because they kept sliding out. Were the little flat pieces supposed to enclose them?
Hi! Sorry for the delay and thanks a lot for your , it will definitely help me to make the model better. How much more space do you need at the chin (in millimeters) if a nose part of the mask sits the proper way?
15mm? the magnet bay next to the upper fangs (below the nose, not the extending ones) is entirely visible when the mask opening is at a comfortable height, with a small gap between
Hello,
ist it possible the the spring Parts have a false scaling ? I Printed it on my Elegoo Jupiter (For_3&5mm_magnets) and the Fang springs are so little, in your Video on youtube i can see that the Springs are as high as the fang cutout. Mine are at maximum 1/3rd of your Video
Hi! I just bought your mask, but I have a question, if I want to sand the pieces, do you recommend me to do it when they are glued or before glue them?
Hi! Thank you! I recommend to sand the pieces after they are glued together. And I don't recommend to sand, putty and paint conical surfaces that create hinges.
Hi, could you send me the file "other parts" but in separated pieces pls? my 3d printer has a problem printing all the pieces at once, thank you :D, my email is [email protected]
I've sent you the link to full package of separated files just now, please check it out.
I have it, thank you so much :D
tengo problemas para la impresión de " otras piezas " existe la posibilidad de que me enviaras ese archivo por " unidades separadas" para poder imprimirlas ( no me preocupa el tiempo de impresión). ya es mi quinto intento fallido.
plssssssssssssssss :,(
Hi! Okay, just let me know your email.
[email protected] muchísimas gracias. :D !
I've just sent you the files, please check your inbox.
Hi
I bought the files.
Unfortunately I have a problem with the small springs.
They couldn't be Printed on my Chiron.
I've been trying to find the right settings for petg for these springs for 2 days.
Do you have any idea why?
Everything else seems to be okai, but since these small parts are not printed, the model breaks.
Or does anyone have a list of the correct settings for Chiron/Anycubic?
I would like to print these for my Son.
Thanks very much.
I took the little springs out of the file...
I made 3 new files with the big springs, small springs and the rest of the components...
Hi!
Thank you for ing me.
If you use Cura slicer, there's a checkbox named "print thin walls" in Cura settings, chapter "Walls". First make it visible in the and then turn it on. It might help in such cases.
I'll put this advise in the product description, thank you!
Hi
"print thin walls" it's always on.
However, it is not printed.
I will try to print each part individually.
Thank you.
I've made fang springs a bit thicker and ed the file to my Google Drive, here's the link: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1h0EQb-W8RaQzWVudJWcAxMRM6qfPfrEK/view?usp=sharing
Thanks very much
I'll try it right away.
I'll report back with the result.
Have a nice day
Okay, thank you in advance.
Okay so:
they don't look very nice but they are 98% complete. :))
Unfortunately I can't add any pictures here.
Normally you don't print petg slowly.
PETG is a world of its own, not really for beginners...
There are a lot of tests necessary until everything runs well.
Sometimes also a new leveling...
In this case, it is very important, at least for my Printer, that this spring ar printed slowly, otherwise it will break.
In any case, it brought a lot, I couldn't print the old spring even slowly.
Thanks very much!
I suspect that the whole thing is related to my Monster Printer because the parts are very fine.
I'll need a few more days until hopefully all the parts are ready.
I'll keep you posted on how it goes.
Thanks!
Hello! Stumbled onto your design here and on youtube. One question for you is that the 10x1.5mm magnets don't seem to be readily available on sites like amazon. Is it possible to use a 10x1mm in its place?
Can't wait to have this printed!
I'm glad you like my work, thank you! Yeah, you can use 10x1mm magnets, but they are too brittle so be carefull attaching them to each other. You also can choose combination of 10x3mm (10 pcs) and 10x5mm (2 pcs) magnets, in this case use files from the folder named “For_3&5mm_magnets”.
Hello to you
beautiful work I have printed as you said on the video
and it works really well
amazing your work
I can just ask you for the files of the 4 springs alone to print them more solid for who works better please
thank you
Thank you! Yeah, just let me know your e-mail and I'll send you the file. Do you need fang springs or lever springs?
alexandre039live.fr the 4 spring thank you
thank you I have ed I cannot open PRD2.6_Lever_Springs
Okay, I've saved it as OBJ and ed one more time: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1YWmRANnEHY4dQCdVhac0azvZZdz-AJ4p/view?usp=sharing
hello to you I made a mistake on the springs I forgot the two big springs spring jaw high spring jaw low spring madible sorry google translator
Okay, no problem.
Just wanted to ask since i ran into a similar issue with a mask i got in the past. Lets say i want to scale the mask to 110% for my head (16.5cm from what i can tell). What dimension/parts do we scale. Does everything get a 110 uniform scale or just only certain parts in the X axis?
Every file should be uniformly scaled up to 110%.
Im making this this week!
Just one question/request...
Any chance of making a top headpiece that would match up with this mouth piece for a full predator cosplay?
Something maybe remixed from this file for the top half?
https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2947059
Hi! Thank you for the purchase! I have my own Wolf Predator full mask 3D model and I'm going to combine top part of it with the movable half-mask, but I'll be able to do that only after finishing my current project, I think it will be in November. It's not as simple as it might seem. I'll let you know when it's done. My Wolf Predator mask is here: https://www.cgtrader.com/3d-print-models/hobby-diy/other/the-wolf-predator-wearable-mask
Hello, may I ask if this project has been completed?
same here would love to see a top half combine too looks amazing
this design is amazing, everything printed 100% perfect, just have to get the fishing line to finish it, You obviously have a brilliant mind, Thanks for sharing!
I realized recently that 3D printed line (0.4mm wide) can be used instead of fishing line. Its length should be at least 28cm. I'm going to add this line as 3d model into the files pack today.
It's done, the file name is "Print_it_and_fold_in_half_Instead_of_fishing_line.zip"
How do you make the head measurement?
I want to buy and print but want to make sure it’ll fit!
Hi! There's a door method, it's shown in this picture: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1Orz4KvEYFmpdSLdOegv9WGnTi0Vr6EVC/view?usp=sharing
Only width of a head should be measured, without ears. Usually it's about 14-16.5 cm
Thanks! Looks like I’m 16cm and that puts me at 106%. Just a hair too big for my print bed!
How big is your build volume?
I misread the volume. Mines 220 220 250. We should be good to go.
Can you add the 2.6 files without s? My slicer is merging the s to the model, I can't print these
Hi! I'm afraid it's not about your slicer, I merged s on purpose because ordinar s gave unstable results on different printers, sometimes they sticked to the surface very tight, in other cases they affected surface quality. Merged s always give good result, the only lack is you have to cut them off each time, but it's a lesser evil. I can send you the files without s but in this case I can't guarantee that mechanism will work as my one.
Yes please [email protected]. If it does work than it's not on you. Thank you so much :)
Okay, I've just sent you the files.
Thank you!!
Dude, i bought this mask and just looks insane, im printing it with silver so it should look nice.
Thank you! I would like to take a look at your work, can you me directly?
sure, once im done with printing and getting all the parts in, ill you with a video/image
Oh, and also how would you measure your head? it says above ears so does that mean just like put the tape measure above your head and just measure it like that?
wheres the video to assemble it???
It's here https://youtu.be/1uUUhSKz1iU
I'm new at this website, sorry. Is there a way to add a tutorial somewhere here?
just include the link in your description
Thanks! It's forbidden on some other services but Cults as I can see even make this link clickable, that's great.
This is genuinely dope asf. I wish I could afford this to print for my wife right now as a Halloween surprise. Love the detailed work!

Hello, can you please tell me if the scale needs to be changed for a 7-year-old child and if so, by what percentage?
