Would you like to Cults?
You like Cults and you want to help us continue the adventure independently? Please note that we are a small team of 4 people, therefore it is very simple to us to maintain the activity and create future developments. Here are 3 solutions accessible to all:
- ADVERTISING: Disable your ad blocker.
- DONATE: Make a donation via Ko-Fi π.
- WORD OF MOUTH: Invite your friends to come, discover the platform and the magnificent 3D files shared by the community!
Sharing and ing on Cults3D guarantees that designs remain in makers community hands! And not in the hands of the 3D printing or software giants who own the competing platforms and exploit the designs for their own commercial interests.
Cults3D is an independent, self-financed site that is not able to any investor or brand. Almost all of the siteβs revenues are paid back to the platformβs makers. The content published on the site serves only the interests of its authors and not those of 3D printer brands who also wish to control the 3D modeling market.
I printed the body with and without s twice and the bottom of the ears failed and fell off both time. Do you have any tips or tricks for them to print without failing?
With many, many prints of him there have been just a few people with your issue. Not knowing your printer type or slicer settings. The only quick suggestion I can give is to use slicer s but change the horizontal offset of the s, and/or force the s to go higher. Other tricks are to slow down the print and/or lower the print temp.
If you want me to look closer at your issue, email me at [email protected] with pictures of the fail, printer type, slicer used and slicing parameters (sometimes you can simply output the 3mf project file from your slicer).

Hey! I figure it out. This is such a delicate print in spite of the size to include the ears. I had to enforce the for the first 36 layers which covered the tip of the sea all the way up to the spot where they failed, had to up the over hang threshold to 80, 1MM layer of raft, 12 MM of inner and outer brim, snug style s with .40 brush size, 80 highlight overhang by angle, 0.00 clipping of view. Everything came out perfect. Piece parts were print as normal. ELEGOO PLA + photo to come once itβs all together. THANKS. If you didnβt know I also printed your Winnie the Pooh and that came out perfect first time around at 125%.
Thank you for the update. I've found that as printers get better and parts cool faster, s no longer stick to parts as much as they used to and need more to reinforce an object.
Teamwork,
Steve
