UPDATE! [08.05.2025]: Sorry for inconvenience, that mod is not compatibile with CFS. Description added at 01.04.2025 was wrong, it is my fault. That is why all of customers that bought my design in that period will get Full Linear Mod on request via email at lashigt@gmail

UPDATE! [26.03.2025]: On comunity request, I have added ADDONS.zip archive, with slightly modified Printhead Carriage compatibile with Skeletor Fan upgrade, it has extra holes prepared for heated inserts to fix the Skeletor mounts (optional).

This is a special mod for X-axis Gantry, an advanced upgrade designed to enhance the precision
and print quality of your Creality K1-Max printer.
This modification includes the integration of a
high-quality linear rail MGN12 and fixes some of printer design issues like, replacing original idler
pulley with idler gear, providing significant improvements in motion accuracy and greatly
reducing VFA’s.

It took months of testing, and improving elements design based on 3D scan of K1-Max, to provide an easy way to mod Your printer with just basic tools.
This mod is completely compatibile with stock printer configuration with all of the additional
features like Ai – , LiDAR sensor, stock build volume - theres no need to modify printer.cfg
– no root needed, but recommended due to Improved Input Shaper - separation.
My mod contains Extruder/hotend carriage (compatibile with LiDAR) and custom X-Axis
Blocks. Rest of components stays STOCK.

In the package You'll get 3 STLs for Left and Right Blocks, and Carriage, what is more , package contains detailed manual of assembly and purchase list to complete the modification and some photographs.

Key components to buy (estimated cost around 60EUR/65USD):
- 1pcs - Linear Rail (MGN12H L= 400mm) with Carriage (Precision/Fitting Class Z1),
- 2pcs - Idler Gear 20T 5mm,
- 4pcs - 3x10x4 Bearing (F623Z),
- 1set - M3x5 Heated Inserts - Voron type,
- Bolts (M3 DIN 7991 and DIN 912, lenghts 16 to 45mm),
- 12pcs - M3x06mm Washers,

It is also possible to change stepper motors with some LDO's such as:
LDO 42STH48-2504MAC (46mm Shaft) - 0,9deg/step
LDO 42STH48-2504AC (46mm Shaft) - 1,8deg/step
Both are compatibile with STOCK mounts, but some tweaking in printer.cfg will be needed.
