You like Cults and you want to help us continue the adventure independently? Please note that we are a small team of 4 people, therefore it is very simple to us to maintain the activity and create future developments. Here are 3 solutions accessible to all:
Sharing and ing on Cults3D guarantees that designs remain in makers community hands! And not in the hands of the 3D printing or software giants who own the competing platforms and exploit the designs for their own commercial interests.
Cults3D is an independent, self-financed site that is not able to any investor or brand. Almost all of the siteβs revenues are paid back to the platformβs makers. The content published on the site serves only the interests of its authors and not those of 3D printer brands who also wish to control the 3D modeling market.
I love it and can highly recommend it.
I would love more sizes though.
Example: I have a lot of citadel paint, so I'm good with a 70mm back leg (but I can't just resize, because then the angle is off and you can't put them onto eachother). This would save me a lot of space. I also have more depth than width, so a 7 or 8 row version would also be appreciated. Any change you could update?
I can't edit my answer, but I wanted to add that ideally we would have multple back leg sizes. The current is 115mm, so a 70, 80, 90 & 100 would be very much appreciated :)
Glad you like it! I'm already working on some updates like corner pieces, can you explain what you want a bit more, I'm not sure I understand maybe do a few simple sketches and I'll do what I can to sort you out.
Thank you for the fast response!
At the moment the honeycomb has 5 rows, but I would love to have more rows since I have more depth in the storage I use, 7 or 8 rows would be ideal.
I mainly have citadell paints, those don't need that much height compared to the dropper bottles, so a lower height backfoot would be perfect (ideally multiple heights to choose from). I tried to resize it in the slicer (just the height), but the angles for the foot are off and they can't be stored on top of eachother anymore.
Smaller backfoot options would also be ideal for me because it would have all pots in an angle, and since I'm a tall guy, this would make it better visible.
I do have some dropper bottles (Vallejo) and those don't really fit if put upright (with the dropper down, they fit perfectly). If I apply some force, then I can get them in there, but this is far from ideal.
Just a thought for a sort of 'expansion pack', dlc if you will :)
I'd love an extension that I can 'click' on there for my brushes and have my brushes vertical. When done, I could 'click' the brushes extension of the paint stand for storage (horizontally). I paint on a shared space, so I have to put everything away when done. The faster this setup / breakdown is, the more time remains for painting.
This is what I'm currently using: https://cdn.webshopapp.com/shops/7221/files/258594842/hobbyzone-brush-and-tool-holder-pn1.jpg
The problem is that it take a lot of storage and storing horizontally has the danger of brushes falling out
I'll come up with some more options over the next week or so. As for the final point, that's actually how I designed the droppers to fit upright in order to make them more secure, I'll do a quick video later today of how I put them in and out and see if it helps.
Thank you. I'm looking forward to those options!
