Cults3D is an independent, self-financed site that is not able to any investor or brand. Almost all of the site’s revenues are paid back to the platform’s makers. The content published on the site serves only the interests of its authors and not those of 3D printer brands who also wish to control the 3D modeling market.
The hole on the underside of the tray meant for the dowel is 10mm wide which causes the tray to fall. I am trying some different sized inserts to reduce the hole size so the tray does not fall. Other than this issue, i love the design and will be printing more.
I was just about to ask if the Dowel hole on the Lids are supposed to be so large as well. I printed two lids while I was waiting on filament to print the base. Went to print the base this morning and noticed the Dowel Hole is much smaller on the base.
There is a small bearing in the central hole, but the description did not mention it.
