100x100x100mm Case + Door (adding 12mm to length) with gear mechanism
Optional 12cm long version of Case
Printed in parts without s
Assembled without a glue
2 versions of door opening mechanism
with simple gears wich will work easier and should be stronger
or in bistable version - it is stable only in closed or opened position, when rotating you are pushing a spring - PETg may be better for this mechanism but it works fine with PLA
Additional versions for printing without infill
Optional springs for clicking sound
Addon to optional fill the coin hole - to work as a simple Safe not as a Piggy Bank

Update 27 VI 2024
Added Boar version (nose + fangs)
Hinges are 50% thicker (so they are stronger)
Added 120mm versions of Case
3D printing settings
0.4mm nozzle
0.1 or 0.2mm layer height
3 walls
1.2mm of top layers
1mm of bottom layers
printed with transparent PLA (PETg may be better for bistable mechanism and hinge pins)
As a test print inner and outer eyes first
You will check if your printer and slicer settings are right for this project
If it will be too hard to assemble you may try using Horizontal Expansion (Cura) or XY Compensation (PrusaSlicer) with negative value (start with maybe -0.02)
If it will be too loose use positive values
If everything is fine so the rest of the parts should be fine too
All parts may be printed without s but if your printer doesn't have a good cooling you may need some when printing a Door
You can print a Door with a GearWheel as - there is a sepparate part for this
Addons are with a flat rectangle around it to proper line it up with a base part
Ignore errors and don't try to fix them
Merge addon with a base part in your slicer (select both parts, right click and 'merge') - exept Door with a GearWheel
Case may be printed without any infill
There are sepparate files for Door and a Nose for No Infill printing - this should be better for transparent filaments but you will need a good cooling
Door also looks nice with Archimidean Chords infill (15%) - see pictures
GearWheel should have some infill (10-25%). If your kid is small but strong add more infill ;). If soft-touch you can even print it without infill (in Prusa Slicer it automaticly adds inner bridges)
