Hi Justin - its the PDF file named "SNAP64 2.0 Assembly Guide.pdf".

This contains a web link to the instructions (google slides format), this is done so s have the latest & greatest instructions. I haven't had anyone report this issue before, if you cannot find it after you give the ed items another look please let me know as I have other means of sharing this!

Hello Fareal - these details are provided upon purchase of which I value no-less than the 3D files/ STL's - half the battle of this design was finding parts that worked & could be sourced with ease. If cost is an issue & you are new to RC, I would be prepare to spend a steep up front cost to get started like everyone new to this hobby. There is a huge jump in complexity even between a 1:43 to 1:64, getting things to work at this scale was not easy... months of design work, hundreds of prints & many parts explored.

A video is on my radar but I am in no rush to make/ edit, if this is a gate I would look at other available options.

Hello, l think I've found everything on ali express. Just not sure on the escs I got. However everything else in your description was available. This is small but I'm up for the challenge lol. Seems pretty straight forward. Wiring is my only scary part. I'll let you know. I may have a question or two later.

Hello Angle - check out the print photos, a maker printed the files on FDM & they look great! This said, I designed it for resin printing so I cant guarantee the same results. Thanks!

Hi - I don't have a specific date at this moment, hopefully sometime early this year. There are resources online for this worth looking at, similar principles apply at this scale as they do for the larger RC scales. This said there are requests that I plan to get to first before this one, like videos & so on, this seems to be the priority for most folks.

Hi 3D-JSSH - very sorry to hear about your frustrations & recognize your technical challenges, this certainly is not for everyone if you don't have the patience, skill & tools - something that should be expected with any custom built RC car especially at this extremely small scale.

1) This said I would love for you to some pictures of your build, I would love to see where things went wrong so we as a community can work through your challenges together! Keep in mind, this is a RC car that functions 64 times smaller than the "real thing" & 4 times smaller than off-the-shelf RC cars. The parts are small & have tight tolerances as should be expected & if instructions are not followed you will yield poor results.  

2) Can you please direct me to the area of my listing/ instructions that promotes this as an "out of box" solution, I can't seem to locate anything referring to a print-&-go solution? If this is actually the case, this would be misleading & would love to correct that, keep me posted!

3) I am impressed you accomplished this for only $120, my charger alone was that. Anyways, anything under $200 is relatively low for any hobby RC of any scale, this should not be a surprise but an expectation. I can't provide a one-size-fits-all build cost because the parts & tools vary in cost based on the region parts are procured in, it would not be fair for me to provide a fixed build cost. 

4) A video would not accomplish much for you or enable your car to drift, but provide you a reminder you were not able to do so. RC drifting at this scale is an "art", settings & setups will be different for every like RC drifting at a normal RC scale (& even the real thing!). This said, I sunk many weeks into the design of the part files & VERY DETAILED work instruction to provide the best guide I could at that time. Ill circle back at a later date to load some videos if you feel that would be helpful, stay tuned.

To be fair, you should post a review (w/ pictures) of your build before future negative comments, it could very simply be the quality of (or lack-of) your build & not the process.

WOW nice, that's less than I did it for! I would plan to spend even more if you are starting with a blank slate. Like all hobby RC, there is a steep startup cost.

Im building it piece by piece..I just need the electronic and battery.

The steering piece where i have to put the 1x3x1.5 is very loose... i tried to put loctite the bearing stiffen

Hey Man - I like the 100mAh battery that is ~14x7x18mm, this is the best fitting battery to maximize capacity, if you are not-so-great on the soldering side I would get something smaller to allow for extra space the wires & so-on may consume.

If you genuinely allowed the Loctite to dry & it is still loose then the threaded hole must not be any good (too big), Loctite red is like cement when properly used. In this case you will likely have to print the part & tap over again. I recommend using IPA as a lubricate when tapping & critically keep the tap at a right angle.

Also Loctite really only work when under pressure/ compression between threads (simple explanation), even if you got it on the bearing they should not seize up & should be a easy clean up.

last idea/ thought...risky but you can always fill the hole up with UV resin & try to re-tap.

Hello - this is based on a mix of personal preferences, the substrate you are drifting on (carpet or slick) & the types of drifts you are targeting (tight radius vs sweeping). Iv used them all with success but lean towards toe out when using substrate like canvas because is helps reduce oversteer & spinning out into a donut. But honestly, there is so many variables that you have to just play with it until you get it right. I am hoping to fold in additional instructions to help dial this in for new s.

Hello - Based on realistic expectations that is correct, its compatible with most 1/64 scale diecast cars. Now... your not going to be able to fit parts in something like a F1 chassis or anything with an extremely small cabin with out getting really creative. This said, sedan/ coupe style bodies would be a good starting point for new builders.

Also its hard to say the cost per build - based on where the parts are procured, if you have to purchases them in bulk or not, or if you have fundamental RC equipment already (like battery charger) have a big influence on the final price. If this if your first RC car in general I would be prepared for a "steep-ish" upfront cost but using Amazing & eBay to keep your prices down.

Hello - it was designed with standard resin in mind, that said if you have another means of printing resin-like detail (like a very dialed in FDM) most material should work.
