3D model description

This model is based on the Shannon Class lifeboat RNLI 13-01, operated by the Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI). The Shannon Class is the first RNLI lifeboat to be powered by water jets, offering high speed and excellent maneuverability. The 13-01 was one of the first of its class and has participated in numerous rescue missions along the UK coastline.

The model has been scaled to 1:72 using reference images. Approximate dimensions are: Length: 188.9 mm, Width: 63.15 mm. To maintain visual integrity and ease of printing, certain details have been intentionally simplified or adjusted from the real-life vessel.

This model is ideal as a desktop ornament or for display purposes in a collection. However, you are welcome to enhance it by adding motors and components to experiment with it as an RC boat.
