3D model description
This is a model of Concrete Trunking. It's designed specifically for 00 gauge (1:76 scale) layouts. The model consists of 48 individual printable parts for unlimited possibilities. The parts included are as follows.
Trunking With Fixed Cover - 18 Parts
- 10 of straight trunking from 1x to 10x in length
- 3 of single straight broken trunking
- 1 of T-junction trunking
- 1 of 45 degree bend trunking
- 1 of 45 degree curved trunking
- 1 of 90 degree curved trunking
- 1 of raised trunking
Trunking Without Cover - 14 Parts
- 10 of straight trunking from 1x to 10x in length
- 1 of T-junction trunking
- 1 of 45 degree bend trunking
- 1 of 45 degree curved trunking
- 1 of 90 degree curved trunking
Trunking Covers - 16 Parts
- 10 of straight trunking covers from 1x to 10x in length
- 2 of single straight broken trunking covers

- 1 of 90 degree curved trunking cover
Minor adjustments with a needle file may be required for a clean finish, and careful handling is needed to avoid breaking any fine detail elements when removing the s post-printing.

Assembly & Post-Processing:
No assembly required. Depending on print precision, minor filing or sanding may also be necessary for a clean finish.
For enhanced realism, I suggest priming and painting the model. Acrylic paints are a suitable choice for this purpose.
If any of the pieces need cutting use a Dremmel or fine saw and finishing by sanding using a fine sandpaper or a nail file. If you're gluing resin printed parts I would recommend use of superglue.
Compatibility:
Designed to fit seamlessly into 00 gauge layouts. The model can also be scaled for other gauges by following standard scaling guidelines. However, for larger scales the details may not translate as well.
File Format:
Available as STL file, compatible with most 3D printers. Model elements have been supplied with and without s.
3D printing settings
I used my ELEGOO Resin 3D Printer, Mars 3 Pro and SUNLU ABS Like Resin for 3D Printer based on the recommended setting for the resin i used.
You'll need to use your setting based on your printer and resin.
