Hi! I’m interested in your deckbox STL and I’d like to know if it fits a full Commander deck (100 sleeved Magic: The Gathering cards). Thanks in advance!
I use double-sleeved cards with Dragon Shield sleeves. Will they fit?

Hi,
It's best to measure your deck of cards to see if it will fit. The card compartment has the following dimensions:
70 x 70 x 92 mm
If your deck is smaller than these dimensions, it will fit easily.

This was an AMAZING print to make. Ran all the parts out in a bronze PLA and it looks stunning. Everything worked out perfectly. I will be subscribing to patreon so that I can sell these locally. Any chance I might be able to discuss a perpetual license with the owner of the file? Thanks!

whenever i made mine, the mechanical parts didnt really fit, they get stuck on eachother and its hard to open and move, any advice?

Seems like you would have to work on your printers settings, the tolerances of the moving parts are not tight at all and should be fairly easy to print. Maybe your overall material flow is too high, so I recommend to lower hotend temperature by 5-10Β°C and lower flowrate by a few percent in your slicer. If that does not help, try a different spool of filament.
Another easy solution is to lubricate the surfaces of the moving parts with silicone oil.

thank you so much, i print it with black pla at 210 for temp and i Use cura so rn the flow rate is at the factory setting of 100%, im new to the whole 3d printing so it might have to see what the perfect flow rate for the ender 3 v3 se is.

Just in case anyone else has trouble with the leafs opening and closing properly, I was able to get it to work scaling Leaf_Holder to 99% size and Leaf_x5 to 98%

Cool deck box with some fun utility, would be awesome to see some options for double sleeved cards so you can fit a 100 card double sleeved commander deck inside.

Looks good, works wonderfully, anything other than the standard/cheap sleeves will not fit properly into the card display without bowing.

dose the print use a metal rod for the hinge or is it included printed part?

Thnx must have missed the line. What is the best setting to hold double sleeve cards seems I could not fit my 99 cards in it.

As statet in the description, the cards compartment measures 70x70x92mm. Since the thickness of sleeves cards depends on the sleeves, I did not specifiy a maximum of cards, but the dimensions of the compartment. So if you take your 100 sleeves card deck and measure it with a caliper it must not be thicker than 70mm in order to fit inside the box.

No, there are parts, which need to be a little flexible in order to make the clicking mechanism work. This usually does not work well with resin.

So far the print is amazing the quality of the design and the work is phenomenal! I do have a request/suggestion. On the lid the spacing for the display card is 1.9mm but on the box it is .7mm With a sleeve (or double sleeves) the commander does not fit the box. If there could be a little more room between the frame and the box it would be perfect!

Hi there, glad you like the design so far! The spacing on the lid is bigger in order to reduce the risk of colliding with the card, when closing the box. I personally used a sleeved commander card and it fits, this may depend on slightly different print settings and printer configuration. Generally speaking I wanted the card to fit tightly, however I did not try double sleeved ones. Could you measure yours with a caliper and tell me, which spacing would work better for you?

If you did 76.3 wide x 102.5 high x 1.77 thick the hard plastic card sleeves would fit and make for extra protection!
