This is an insert for the Kickstarter board game Aberration.
It holds the base game, the miniatures set, the Spellcaster expansion and the Honk of Doom expansion.
The insert can also be used with a combination of these expansions. There is no change to the parts that need to be printed.
I have ed the Deluxe Pledge and therefore I also have the Wooden kens.
However, I have designed all the tokens in 3D again and these or the cardboard tokens work with the insert.
I also designed capsules for the Shadow Tokens and created a 3D First Player Marker.
All cards can be sleeved. All cards were provided with Gamegenic Matte sleeves and this is how it was designed and tested.
The insert is designed so that the trays can be taken out of the box and placed on the table for play. This optimizes assembly and disassembly.
The components take up a lot of space, just because of the game board and all the boards for the players/heroes. That's why everything had to be designed this way and the miniatures come in simple boxes where they can be placed and sorted freely.
The piles of cards for items and objectives have each been given a separate box, which can be placed on the table and used both as a draw pile and a discard pile.
There are also suitable dividers for the rest of the cards.
All trays are labeled or marked with symbols to indicate what is to be placed where - or it is so obvious from the shape of the tokens that you can't make a mistake.
The insert does not create a lid lift!
There is one thing to watch out for:
There are 4 pouches that you use as a hero when playing. 2 of them have to be folded lengthwise once and then rolled up and these are then placed upright in the bottom left of the box. The other two are folded crosswise once and then placed on the top right of the card tray and the box for the big monsters. Only then there is no lid lift.
If someone only has the stand version: There are only a couple of Stande feet included with the game itself. I made them and printed out the right number of them. This way you can add feet to all the stands and sort them so you don't have to keep changing them.
All files must be printed once with the exception of files that have an underscore, an x and a number at the end of the name, e.g. _x6. This means that this file must be printed 6 times.
The 3mf file is included and already prepared for multicolor printing.
The longest part to be printed measures 221 mm. You should be able to print this on standard printers, or you can rotate the part by 45 degrees in the slicer.
The whole thing was printed on a BambuLab P1S. The print takes approx. 27 hours with a material consumption of approx. 820 grams - depending on how the infill is set, or whether you print with top and bottom layers and whether you want to print the tokens as well.
Some of the Text and Symbols on Tokens were added in the Slicer. Use the 3mf file - everything is already configured there.
