Tried to create an egg with the free version. the conversion to grayscale is working but in the stl file the picture is partially cut off.
are the any restictions in picture size or aspect ratio? And guess what, I need an answer util Saturday. ;-)

Yes, the outermost line disappears. This is not due to cropping, but to the fact that the program smoothly reduces the intensity of the photo to zero along the edges, so that there is a smooth transition from the photo to the rest of the egg. About 3-4% is lost at the edges, so if there is something important in the image, it is better to make margins on all sides of the image.

I try to do the lithophane but I get access denied and it says it will take a minute or 2 but I leave it working like that and it does nothing

After finishing, the program writes the Amazing.stl file to the same folder where it is located and then displays a โ€œReadyโ€ message that the program has finished working. Most likely, you launched the program from a zip archive, and the program tries to write the Amazing.stl file back into the archive, but cannot (so "Access denied" message appeared). Therefore, please first unzip the program to any folder (for example, D:/Amazing/). Please write me if this does not solve your problem.

ist es mรถglich die Fotos im Programm zu drehen ? Leider sind Mehrere Fotos um 90ยฐ gedreht, welche ich drucken mรถchte. Gibt es ein bestimmtest Format, mehre Fotos sind im Hochkant Format.

Right now the program does not have the ability to rotate photos.

Initially, the principle of program development was - a minimal interface without a single extra button (even without a file save menu). So that all the forces of me, as a developer, go only to create some new useful functions.

But you're right, smartphone photos often have to be rotated. I have added this photo pre-rotation function to the last three programs (Amazing STL Creator 9, 10, 11)

Therefore, I have now added your suggestion to my plan for improving this program for lithophany and bas-relief. I don't promise that it will be soon, but after a while I will release an updated version of the program on Cults and you will receive a notification about this from Cults.

Right now, you can solve this problem using some kind of graphic editor, for example, Paint or Photoshop. It is enough to rotate there as it is necessary and save the photo in JPG.

i bought the program and i can open it up but after loading the picture i hit create and it says it been saved the file dir but theres no files anywhere????????

After the program finishes its work, the program should create the Amazing.stl file in the same folder where the program itself is located.

Could it be that you have ed the zip archive with the program and run the program from the archive? Then the program cannot write the Amazing.stl file back to the archive. If this is the problem, then please create any folder (for example, D:/Amazing), first unzip the program from the zip archive there, and run it from there.
