Perfect-fit H_onda Insight front speaker adapters for 6.5" Alpine R-S65C.2 components. Adapters fit to stock fastener holes, sport a shallow recessed channel for foam sealing ring, and include a wire -through, zero drilling required. We even got you covered with bolt-on rain guards. Absolutely haram.
But (royal) we didn't stop there. You also get painstakingly-contoured tweeter tubes to fit to the removable plastic triangle- next to your side mirrors. Did I mention they are aimed directly at each respective ear of the driver for perfect sound projection. Disgusting.

FAQ
1) Will I need to upgrade my speaker wires?
Yes, 100%. That means removal of side sills and most of the fender liner to get to all the fender bolts for removal. A pain, but it is what it is.
2) Why these Alpine Type R's?
Neodymium magnet improves efficiency of the speaker and significantly reduces the weight over typical speaker magnets. Cross-overs are tiny and easy to mount. Tweeters have tilt-adjustment and feature an under-stated, subtle aesthetic. Power requirements are well-suited for a 4-channel amp and 2.1 sound system. Finally, good reviews. I've actually owned some 6.5 Type R's back in the day (2006) and they sounded great paired with an amplifier.
3) Will "XXX" brand speaker fit?
Don't know. Check the hole pattern of the speakers by comparing specs in the manuals. The Type R's are spaced 110.3mm vertically/laterally to each other. There's probably some close-enough 6.5 speakers that'll fit fine, but different tweeters fitting these tubes are very unlikely with modification/spacers/etc.
4) Why isn't there a picture with the stock speaker grill installed?
There is, see one of the tweeter pictures. They fit without issue retaining the clean OEM-look.
Installation Instructions Notes
See picture roll. Most of the install is pretty straight-forward.
For drilling the A-pillar triangles, mount and press each tweeter tube firmly against the contoured plastic holding the upper portion of the tube right at the upper edge of the triangle. We are avoiding mounting it too low here. Use a punch-mark on the top fastener hole. Remove tweeter tube and drill hole for M3 fastener. Mount tweeter tube with single fastener and use as drill guide for second fastener. Install second fastener, then drill last hole. I used a 5/16" drill bit for the tweeter wire -through. Tweeters are friction fit. I left a very small amount of material on the inner diameter to for printing variation so you may need to take some 180 grit sand paper to this inner wall to achieve final fit.
Hook-and-loop material is for attaching the crossovers to each door . to leave enough clearance to slide it open for tweeter decibel adjustments.
