3D model description

This menacing beautiful piece of machinery looks insane in the air. I wanted to design a version of the B1b that would be easy to build and light weight enough to hand launch. I did just that. This model can easily be hand launched by an experienced EDF pilot. If you have an airstrip field you can easily add some fixed gear on this with all the flat surface on the bottom of the fuselage. Once in the air this bird flies like a beginner jet. I know many will expect a swing wing design but it would be too heavy as a 3d printed platform. I Picked the Mid sweep wing position that would be the most well rounded for all RC flying conditions. Low speed and high speed.

Parts needed:
twin 50mm EDF's I use the Xfly Galaxy https://a.co/d/ay19Ynq
Twin 40mm ESC's (any) https://a.co/d/8pIPm1d

2x 8mm OD carbon tubes 14" each.
Four 4.3g servos https://a.co/d/a2gmqHZ
xt60 y adapter for your dual ESC's
1.2mm pushrod with z bends
velcro for the electronics and battery in the cockpit
I recommend flying your first flight with a 1500 4s lipo. It will be short 2-2.5min to trim and get the maiden done. Then you can run the 2200 4s.

250/250/250 printer bed is recommended but my designs use slicer infill. This allows you to import a part, slice it in any direction and print the halves on your smaller printer. I made a youtube short on my channel showing how this is done.

3D printing settings

Please Dial in your 3d printer to print active foaming LW PLA. This aircraft requires a dialed in printer using LW active foaming. Pre foamed LW PLA may come in too heavy.

1 wall
2 top and bottom
3%grid infill for everything but

-front canards should be 2 wall for strength
-wings should be 3% grid if your prints are solid, 4% if they feel weak
-Wing tips should be 2 wall 3% grid
- The Two tail fuselage sections that hold the horizonal tail (fuse 10 and 11) should be two wall and 4% grid
-Horizontal tails should be 2 wall 4% grid
-Elevators same 2 wall 4% grid
-Vertical tail same 2 wall 4% grid
