3D model description
Are you ready for some football?!
For awards or decor, these football stands and signs are easy to print and will bring smiles to any recipient. Use these to decorate a room, as trophies for your Fantasy Football League, and make your own signs with the blank inserts.*
Single-color and two-color models for the stand base. Sign inserts include 1st, 2nd, 3rd, #1, and "League Champ" along with short and tall blank inserts.
This project was inspired by making team trophies for my daughter's flag football team. Go Aggies!

Additional Items
Extra Bonus! Models of the whole football, with and without stripes, are also included in a .zip folder in both single-color and dual-color versions. More details in that folder. Note: These footballs are not necessarily proportioned correctly to real footballs.
For customization, a "projection" model of the football is included to help set up your own text or logos so you can see how they will appear when placed in the base and not block insertion. Be sure to align model origins or add the projection part to the blank insert model so it is in the correct position. Don't forget to remove or hide the projection model before slicing to print.
Bonus! Digits 0 through 9 included in a .zip folder. When aligning model origins, the z-height should match the surface of the blank insert (3.40 mm thick) and be aligned well in the y-direction for the short insert. Rescale as desired for the tall insert. The digits are 1 mm thick.

3D printing settings
Stand bases are approximately 109 x 67 x 43 mm. The short inserts are 91.4 x 82 x 4.4 mm and the tall inserts are 91.4 x 112 x 4.4 mm. (Blank ones are 3.4 mm thick.) The text is 1 mm thick, so color swaps work well at 3.4 mm height.
I printed the bases with 0.25 mm layer height, 3 perimeters, 3 top and bottom solid layers, and 10% infill. The inserts were printed with 0.25 mm layer height, 2 perimeters, 3 top and bottom solid layers, and 15% infill.
For the texture on the inserts, I modified the top layer of the plate to print with 80% or 65% honeycomb infill and no top layers. I also modified the top layers of text to print with 1 perimeter so there is more room for external infill. For the "14" I used an additional modification to create the outline by printing the very top layer with 2 perimeters, 0 top layers, and 0% infill. This insert was done with two filament swaps on a single-color machine.
