Cults3D is an independent, self-financed site that is not able to any investor or brand. Almost all of the site’s revenues are paid back to the platform’s makers. The content published on the site serves only the interests of its authors and not those of 3D printer brands who also wish to control the 3D modeling market.
Hi I really like this system. I think I might have added some comments on the previous screw design, and this evolution is very cool. Just wondering if there is a known system, like your "wall marking" pin inserts in a previous version that help know where to drill holes in the drywall, to do the reverse? What I mean by example is this: I attach all the things to the wall for a lovely set of s that I have just made. I love it! Next week I want to create a new piece of art and reuse the wall mounted parts and add new "nubs" to the back of my newly created s in EXACTLY the right spot. How do I go about finding the right spot on the back of the to attach the "nubs" to?
That’s a great idea! You could print a template for mounting the male cleat in the same place in each corner. This could be 3D printed, or just printed on a piece of paper. Would that work for you?
Another thought is to install the cleats (cleats only) into the barrels already installed on the wall, and have screw points protruding out of each cleat hole. You could then press your against the screw points to mark male cleat placement on the back of the . This would work if the replacement s you’re installing are not the same size as the original s.
These all seem like good answers that I would try for sure. I am just thinking about your customer base and their happiness :D
