It has been printed in both PLA and resin by countless people on the internet. I'd say just print it and see if it works for what you want it to. Add top shells if you want to make sure the roof is not see-through.

I want the roof to be see-through. I love the design and want it exactly as shown. I printed one today at a smaller scale and my skepticism proved true. In the long roof where there are horizontal beams in the design above the empty room, my printer can’t print it in thin air without s. If I use s, the way the roof and floor are designed I won’t be able to get them out. I’m trying to edit the file in blender to make the empty room bottomless that way my s can be removed from underneath however my CAD skills are very much lacking.

I see, we cannot modify the source model, but there are some alternatives for you: 1) you can use the masking tape method to help print the overhangs without s, you pause the print before it starts the beams, put tape, and then continue; 2) you can increase the speed of the print at the moment of the beams, so that the overhang can be printed as a fast bridge, 3) you can try editing the model in Tinkercad or a slicer like BambuStudio or PrusaSlicer, not blender, a much friendlier and easier editor. They have modifier objects like a negative cube, or you could split the model right before the beams.
