Deg and 3D printing for 10 years. I love making practical and useful designs and prints. I went to a two year tech college and then Milwaukee School of Engineering (MSOE) from 2011-2016. That is where I learned how to design with CAD software. This got me interested in 3d printing. I started 3D printing in 2016, with my Lulzbot Mini 1. Now i have a Lulzbot Mini 2, two Prusa MK3S+, one Lulzbot Taz 747, and two Lulzbot Taz Sidekick 289s.
I'm married with (2) little girls. 3d printing is part of our lives. I make toys for the girls. Fix broken things around the house. I hope some day my little girls take up deg and print out their own toys for fun!!!!
I've been working on a grad teaching degree. Recently, I have spent time in k-12 schools as a student-teacher and substitute. During these times I have been 3d printing custom gifts for kids, such as: school logo bookmarks, key chains, and more. I'd estimate that I have given away nearly 1000 3d printed items. I hope to inspire and encourage kids of all ages to look into 3d printing for a fun and creative hobby. Additionally, I hope to show kids that 3d printing is a very useful tool for prototyping and physically displaying their ideas. It has been a fun journey.
