You like Cults and you want to help us continue the adventure independently? Please note that we are a small team of 4 people, therefore it is very simple to us to maintain the activity and create future developments. Here are 3 solutions accessible to all:
Sharing and ing on Cults3D guarantees that designs remain in makers community hands! And not in the hands of the 3D printing or software giants who own the competing platforms and exploit the designs for their own commercial interests.
Cults3D is an independent, self-financed site that is not able to any investor or brand. Almost all of the siteβs revenues are paid back to the platformβs makers. The content published on the site serves only the interests of its authors and not those of 3D printer brands who also wish to control the 3D modeling market.
This looks great. Can you give a rough estimate (doesnt need to be particularly accurate) of how much resin this will need? I normally print in Siryatech Fast ABS Like. Would that be ok?
Answering my question, it took just over a 1kg bottle for me. Everything except the stand (which I printed in FDM) and the stock bracket I just about managed to squeeze out of one bottle, but it was very, very close. All fit on three Saturn 2 build plates. Tip for people who have similar sized printers - put the trigger part, the scope pieces, the barrel pieces and the rear barrel on one plate. It'll all fit and take about 12 hours. Just be aware thats going to be around 600ml of resin. The Saturn 2/3 vat holds about 700ml max, so just in case theres any miscalculation, I'd suggest topping up at some point in the print process.
I printed it in Sirya Tech Blu Nylon and it came out great. Just need to assemble now, but just ordered up another two bottles of Blu as its time to replace my Han blaster and that First Order blaster looks great.
Thank you for the model PCMasuda.
I am glady you liked. And sorry I couldn't answer in time for you. I was dealing with some rl stuff.
No problem, wasn't expecting an instant response! Waiting on some resin to arrive so I can start the F11. Thank you for your designs and can't wait to see what you do next.
