*Tharvos, The Skullforger is an original model designed entirely from scratch by the designer, ii_aguilar, as part of a ZBrush course. During the course, the designer received technical guidance on sculpting and design techniques but maintained full creative control over the model. Although the course provided general visual references to inspire the work, the final model, including its unique weapon and intricate details, was independently created by ii_aguilar.

For the #TABLETOPXLYCHEE contest, this design does not belong to any video game or existing franchise, making it a completely unique and exclusive piece. Specifically crafted for resin (MSLA) 3D printing, Tharvos is not only a technical challenge for high-quality printers but also an epic figure ideal for tabletop gaming or display.*

Design Features

• Impressive level of detail: Every element of the model, from the texture of the armor to the ornaments on the hammer and skulls, has been sculpted with a high level of precision. This makes it an excellent test for the capabilities of your resin printer.

• Modular design: The model is divided into multiple parts, each with carefully designed connectors to ensure easy assembly and a perfect fit.

• Decorative base included: Tharvos comes with a detailed base that places the character in an imposing stance and enhances its presence. The base, adorned with skulls and unique textures, completes the design.

• Iconic weapon: Tharvos wields a unique hammer, one of the most striking elements of the model. Its design conveys strength and character, reinforcing the identity of the character as "The Skullforger."

• Thematic decorative elements: As a tribute to his name, the model features multiple skulls, including a prominent dragon skull adorning his arm and several human skulls decorating his base and armor, accentuating his fierce and powerful nature.

• Optimal scale: The model is scaled to print at an approximate height of 15 cm, including the base. This size achieves a perfect balance between detail and visual presence.

Printing Recommendations

This model is specifically designed for high-quality resin printers. Due to the number of fine details, such as textures and ornaments, it is recommended to use high-resolution resin and precise settings to achieve the best results. The modular design allows the model to be printed in parts, ensuring higher quality for each component.

General Settings
- Printer Type: Resin (MSLA) printer. High-resolution resin printers are highly recommended to capture the intricate details of this model.
Model Orientation and s
- Orientation: Orient each piece to minimize overhangs and ensure better print stability. The parts are already split for easier printing.
- s: Use medium-density s for delicate features such as the dragon skull on the arm and the smaller details on the hammer. Make sure to all overhangs, especially on intricate textures like the armor and base.
Scale
The model is pre-scaled to approximately 15 cm in height, including the base. If resizing is needed, maintain the same proportion for all parts to ensure proper fitting.
