PATATAS
The game where your pawns turn into little potatoes ready to head for the Fryer! But watch out, your opponents are there to send you straight back into your bag.
Strategy, dirty tricks and twists of fate guaranteed! Who will be the Master of the Fryer?
Grab your cards, prepare your pawns, and let the battle begin!
OBEJECTIVE
The aim of the game in Patatas is to be the first to get your five Patatas (your pawns) to the Fryer (the finishing area).
Your Patatas start their journey in the Bag (the start area), and you have to move them around the board to fry them in your Fryer.
objective
IN PLACE
Set up the board according to the number of players. If there are two of you, use 4 parts of the board. For more players, add board pieces.
From 2 to 4 players, use 2 decks of cards. With 5 or 6 players, use 3 packs. Don't forget to add all the Jockers.
Each player chooses a color for his Patatas and places them in his Bag.
The cards are shuffled, and each player receives 5 cards.
**HOW TO PLAY
Each turn, you draw a card, then play one to move one of your Patatas. The card you play determines how many squares your Patata advances on the board:
As, King, Queen, Jack:** Draw a Patata from your Bag.
King, Queen, Jack :** Advance 10 squares.
Cards numbered Ace to 10 except 8 :** Advance the number of squares indicated on the card.
The 7:** You can advance 7 squares with a Patata or divide these 7 squares between two Patatas. Be careful, you must play them all.
The 8:** Move back 8 squares, can be useful if you're close to your Fryer. But you can't enter it by moving backwards.
Jocker : Take the place of an opponent's Patata and send it back into its Bag.
IMPORTANT RULES
To get a Patata out of your Bag, you need an Ace, King, Queen or Jack.
If you land on the square of an opponent's Patata, you send it straight back into their Bag.
A Patata that has arrived in its Fryer is safe and can no longer be moved by another player.
On the board you can your opponents' patatas, but not your own. Nor in the fritteuse, for that matter.
You must arrive in your Fryer with the exact number of squares, otherwise you keep spinning on the board.
The game ends when you've taken all your Patatas to your Fryer. The first to do so wins the game!
RANGEMENT
The Patatas tray is a model of ingenuity: modular to adapt to the number of players, it nests easily for compact storage. Best of all, it can hold all the marbles, making it convenient to carry and store.
A clever solution for quick-set-up games!
